IGOE is a poor COBRA services company…

IGOE is a poor COBRA administrator company. Their customer service is really bad. They do not respond to calls or emails. Even their call back system is setup just to dodge customer calls and a call back did not happen. Their business system software recently went through a change and they cancelled our insurance coverage twice. It took hours of trying to reach them each time to reinstate our coverage while full payments were being made and checks cashed by IGOE. In the meantime, our health insurance provider was sending us notices of cancelled coverage. It was a nightmare working with IGOE. They have no notes of calls you make to them, no customer communication logs and no reference numbers for any cases.

The worst

The worst - very, very long hold/wait times with customer service - even longer than ATT which says a lot! I have no confidence in this company.

Igoe is the worst FSA administrator I…

Igoe is the worst FSA administrator I have ever had. They routinely reject claims from doctor's offices. It feels like they're just rejecting claims randomly so that you can't use the money that you've put in your account (so that they can keep it at the end of the year).

This is the worst company that runs…

This is the worst company that runs worse than an insurance company.

It denies me claims on itemized documents that was signed by my doctor. It even denied my recent medical receipt to the ER. The company takes advantage on people’s misfortunes. They will make up a reason to deny your claim.

It used to be a nicer and respectful company. Now it’s just like another horrible insurance company that bully on sick people.

Is this company actually a front for the Mob? Tell your employer to never utilize this company's products or service

I honestly am getting the impression this company is actually run by the mob. So I lose my job, and now have to pay $25 bucks a month for the privilege of maintaining access to my flex spend account, which they also have revoked the debit card for so now I have to manually submit claims to these extortionists. NOWHERE on the Cobra paperwork was it clearly explained that you have to pay a monthly service fee to continue to utilize your own money you paid into the Flex Spend Account.

Horrrible

They will make you jump through hoops like a poodle to use your own money FSA on medical treatments that you need for your health and wellbeing!!
They have denied my copay request many times for administrative reasons when the insurance company already approved and paid for the treatment or procedure.

This company is why people HATE!

Deceptive practices and false information

The company uses deceptive practices to ensure they keep the money from their clients. The company app is providing false information about deadlines and T&C, so that money in the account goes unused. Calling the customer service is painful, as they defend their practices under the disguise of app technical errors. Do not work this company as its only purpose is to steal money from your paycheck.

I was deactivated from my insurance…

I was deactivated from my insurance that was already paid for by company because I did not sign a document that did not have a deadline. This seems totally wrong to take away services that have already been paid in full.

Deceptive and Invasive Practices

Deceptive and Invasive Practices

I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by Igoe Administrative Services. Their handling of my Dependent Care FSA claim has been nothing short of frustrating and deceitful.

Invasive and Unjustified Documentation Requests
Despite my clear and legitimate submission of a daycare expense invoice for my 3-year-old daughter, Igoe demanded irrelevant and invasive medical-related documentation, such as the "name of doctor" and "description of procedure." This was for a daycare expense, not a medical expense! Their excessive and irrelevant requests raise concerns about potential HIPAA violations.

Intentional Obstruction
It is apparent that Igoe's practices are designed to make it difficult for users to spend their FSA funds, hoping that the money will remain unused by the end of the plan period, allowing the company to pocket the funds. This is a clear attempt to undermine the purpose of the FSA, which is to help families manage dependent care expenses.

Unresponsive and Uncooperative
Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, Igoe has been unresponsive and uncooperative. Their customer service is poor, and they have failed to provide any valid reason for their invasive documentation requests. Instead of facilitating the use of funds for legitimate expenses, they create unnecessary hurdles, wasting time and causing undue stress.

Do Not Trust Igoe
I strongly advise against using Igoe Administrative Services for any FSA or dependent care-related services. Their deceptive practices, poor customer service, and apparent intent to profit from unused funds make them an unreliable and untrustworthy provider. Save yourself the frustration and choose a provider that genuinely supports its users.
