I worked with Going Abroad for almost two years, and it was a great experience from the very beginning. After submitting my first application, I got a response within a week. My recruiter, Isabelle, made the process smooth and welcoming. From our first interview, I felt comfortable—everything was clearly explained, and the communication stayed excellent throughout. I definetely do not recommend them. I applied for 5 jobs in their site, they replied to 1 application. We organized an interview, after that, they said that i got the job. It was a bit weird that they wanted pictures about my bankcard, but i considered it weird but okay. After that, they started to promising about when i can start. Every week, they said that I can start next week, they said that there are techical difficulties or schedule difficulties. After 3 weeks, i contacted the workplace, to know what caused so much delay. They informed me, that they don't know, that I were applied to them, and they don't have any vacancies right now. After that, I contacted with Going Abroad, who were "surprised" and "deeply sorry" about what have happened. And they started to promising again about a starting date. After a week, they called me and offered a job really far from my home, but then, I really needed a job, so I accepted. And the story isn't finished yet. They didn't provided me any contract, they delayed to pay for a month, their site is a bugging all the time. Definetely don't recommend them. They are scammers, who are using foreign people. Never apply to them.

Finding a job as an international student is harder than I thought, the only thing I heard was, I think they hire internationals at McDonalds. After an intake Joey scheduled me for a first day at a restaurant I did not expect would hire internationals, 1 month later, I am still happy and working. I'm now recommending Going Abroad to other international students.

Great experience working with them, fast & efficient

I did not know Going Abroad before, but found their site via Avans University. I thought I would register and hope I would find a nice job through Going Abroad. After I had sent out a few applications, I was quickly called by Gunnar. Before I knew it I had a great job! Through this way I would like to thank Gunnar, who saw potential in me so quickly and linked me to the right employer. It did not take him long to figure out what sort of person I am and what kind of job would suit me best. Going Abroad thanks, keep up the good work.
