Came out to quote for a solar battery installation. Very knowledgable onsite however after explaining I’d be receiving a quote in the coming month nothing came through. Then nothing! Tried calling and email to obtain the cost and nothing back.

Dreadful experience.
Site survey inadequate.
Allegedly the agreed batteries no longer manufactured. Alternative supplied.
Batteries would not fit in the agreed space.
Fitters arrived earlier than agreed, but job was still not completed. mess not cleared up.
Next visit, completed installation but set up incorrect. Was drawing power from the grid rather than solar panels and then discharging back to the grid not the house. System using 20kw a day on our usage.
No warranty or instructions supplied
Numerous emails, texts and phone calls not responded to.
I wonder if the company has gone bust.

Update 10/06. We eventually got through to one of the directors. They told us their codirector, who was the person who did our survey, had extracted money from the company and done a runner. This persons son, did our initial sales visit, and had got into financial difficulties. The remaining director was helpful. We got the details of the company who had been contracted for the installation. We are now dealing with them directly. They have been today. Apparently the system installed incorrectly with grid and solar input/output transposed.

It is very rare to find a company that ticks all the boxes,
great customer service, great integrity, Going Green is absolutely outstanding in all respects.

This is a good company their work force are very good at what they do,I was well pleased with the work effick that they had from the sales person and the surveyor and of course the work men I would recommend this firm to every body if they have solar panels if the haven't got a battery well-done going green.

From start to finish going green have been so helpful over my growatt battery system.
I am only on day one but I was really impressed with all the after support too. Especially Ian Foxcroft was always at the end of the phone to help. Also so many others been so helpful. Would highly recommend.

Ordered cab for 12.30, the cab driver didn't grumble when I explained was waiting for my daughter. He went off, done another job then came back for me. Very polite, felt safe, got home safe. Thank you. My daughter is going to be very cold

Excellent Company and service. From Isaac initial consultation to Cheryl coming to my house personally and explaining all my options with my current solar panel system and battery storage options. Isaac explained to me the whole process and then Cheryl took time out of her busy schedule to visit my property and was very knowledgable in all the different options available. I went for the 10kw Growatt battery storage package which I got a really good deal on. The engineers came and fitted in super quick time and explained in great detail how everything works as well setting up the App on my phone. And Meghan was very helpful in emailing me and keeping me up to date on everything I needed to know. All in all a very professional team and I would recommend to anyone. So good that I have even referred to the company and my referral fee is on the way. A big thanks again to Cheryl and the Team. Highly recommended

Lovely company to deal with, kept in touch well, easy to get hold of. No pressure sales at all . Had solar batteries fitted to existing solar panels,the fitters very efficient, arrived on time, cleared up after themselves.App sorted by the fitters all works well and can monitor what is happening
All in all a very good experience, only problem at the moment is a lack of sunshine!!

From the initial phone call after my online enquiry, to the time spent with Cheryl going through the quote, to the installation of my inverter and battery a couple of weeks later, the follow up call later that day from Cheryl to make sure the app was working for me, to the timely receipt of paperwork from Meghan in the office the experience has been great.
Having had my panels fitted by a different company with a really poor resultant customer experience I was naturally a bit wary when I decided to retro-fit a battery, but the two companies couldn't be more different. I am very happy that I chose this company and would recommend others to do so. There was no hard sell, just honest conversation and more importantly this company did what they said they would, when they said they were going to. The electrician that fitted my battery was a star. He took time to make everything look 100%, even going so far as to take it out and adjust things a couple of times because he wasn't absolutely happy with it. If he wouldn't have it in his house he wasn't going to put it in mine, which I thought was a lovely attitude. My system is too new to know exactly how much money I will save, but the peace of mind it has given me is priceless.

Excellent service, the installer was very professional and the installation of the solar battery was quick and easy, and they cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I own a small pub and the energy bills have been crippling us, to the point of us worrying we’ll have to close the doors after 20 years of being in business.
Going Green got in touch with us to discuss how we could get panels fitted and start using solar energy instead and once we looked at the figures, it was a no brainer. We’re paying slightly less each month than we were on electricity bills and in 3 years time, we’ll be almost completely free of a bill at all and will be thousands better off each year. The experience from initial contact to install was brilliant and it was completed within 4 weeks. Great team - thank you :)

This is the best thing I've ever done for my home - better return on my investment than leaving my money sat in a bank account. Living in a rural location and being solely on electric the installation of solar panels has made a tremendous difference. Going Green were fantastic from start to finish and the savings they predicted were spot on!!

In the 8 months since installation my bill has been reduced by two thirds. The electrician team were fantastic. Although not the cheapest out there, the warranty, safety record of the batteries and support is worth it. It’s rare to meet such a friendly and helpful company these days. Highly recommended!!
