I placed an order for a track top which was too small on arrival.

I posted this back to GAOT on 29 March 2026 via Royal Mail tracked delivery (using GAOT’s portal which charges an inflated £5 for this service plus a mysterious £2 restock fee).

I received confirmation from Royal Mail that the item was delivered to GAOT on 1 April 2026. I didn’t receive any notification or acknowledgment of this from GAOT and no refund by 11 April 2026 so I sent an email chasing the refund (their contact us section doesn’t work). No acknowledgment or response received.

I sent a further email on 14 April 2026 advising I’d still not received my refund and requested this was provided by 17 April 2026 - 16 days after the return was received. No refund has been received so it looks like it’ll be going to the small claims court to recover my money and any costs incurred.

I can see from other reviews that other customers haven’t received refunds so this is technically theft.

So, my experience has been appalling and I’ll never use these chancers again and I’d advise others to stay well clear and use other more professional and customer focused sites. VERY UNHAPPY.

Terrible returns experience. No response to my initial email asking about returns so sent it back tracked and signed for at my expense so now I have no jacket and no refund

The return policy should be clearly stated before making a purchase. There are return shipping charges that give no option to ship with my own shipping company. They would charge me over $50.00 to return the purchase, and I still get less than I paid for it originally. If you exchange right away, they give you a bit more. If you trade for store credit at a later date, they give you less! After looking at this policy, the gift I gave was not going to be returned. I will never purchase from them again. Such a terrible policy is legal, but it should be clearly stated when purchasing.

Make sure you know your exact sizing on various brands, because if you have to return anything to this company a they will fleece you with ridiculous return and restocking fees.
