Placed an order with multiple items that were all gifts. The USPS delivered it to the wrong address and we did not recognize the signature. We contacted Golden Eagle and explained the situation. A few days later there was a knock on the door and I signed for a full replacement. You all have my business permanently!

This was my second purchase from Golden Eagle Coins... The first one went rather well: the package was delivered personally, and I had a chance to sigh for it like it was intended...

But this time everything was terrible..
The package was nearly lost...
Here is what happened:
it was all about the delivery...
The USPS is obviously NOT the appropriate
means of delivering valuable packages like this...
The package was NOT delivered personally...
The package WAS NOT signed on upon delivery...
The signature (if any) was forged...
The package was simply left in the mail room (!)...

I will think twice now before considering ordering from Golden Eagle Coins ... unless something is solid done to ensure a proper delivery...

My order was cancelled for non specified reasons.

Not sure why it took over two weeks to deliver such a small order. Especially after a personal phone call.

Always prompt service. Product is exactly as advertised. Great Company!

13 days in and my order is "IN_PROCESS"; still hasnt shipped when funds were immediately available. This company holds your funds for an unreasonable amount of time for their own greedy reasons, which are unnecessary and harm consumers. My order is pending and I'm highly concerned about even receiving it as ordered given the reviews I've read. I'll be going to somewhere else and gladly paying slightly more just to decrease weeks of unnecessary stress due this company's lack of responsivity after they've received what they want. They aren't investing in customers. I ordered two weeks ago my order hasn't shipped despite the funds clearing. And I don't care to get a response from the company I'll just go to jm, apmex, or someone else. They've been quicker and more reliable.

I was just googling history of this company and came across bad reviews. This has never been my experience when dealing with Golden Eagle Coins. I have made plenty of purchases over past few years and did so on their web sight with a very good buying experience that I have found unequalled anywhere ! That is my only complaint about Golden Eagle Coins….they have spoiled me with their great selection, quality and customer service that I rarely had to question anything. But when I did ,they addressed my concerns and handled their Bussiness very professionally and easy to talk to. In short I would recommend them to the first time buyer as well as a seasoned veteran in numismatics. I don’t give referrals often but you can take this one to the bank! Got price quote on a gold coin and a verbal lock in on Monday, a day later gold is actually up so I called to verify my lock in price before driving in (especially when gas is $5 a gallon) only to hear the owner state that the buy price had gone down from $955 to $875 yet GOLD WENT UP!

Have a feeling the other price was a bait and switch but either way some shifty shady practices going on currently, an I love shopping here but this rubbed me the wrong way Golden Eagle, integrity means little in the gold game I guess.

Order at own risk. 3 attempts. First I carefully explained and was told how to send 3 gold bars to trade for silver. Several weeks later i got s check not silver. I tell them about their screwup so check is cancelled and silver sent. Cost me 35$ from bank and weeks wasted Then second order slow but ok. Order 3 waited and waited and promised ship date comes and goes no answers. Finally they tell me they don't have what I ordered. Zero communication. Not worth the hassle ....I tried they failed. Now going to buy elsewhere

Greg, Scott and the rest of the boat are 1st class. We had an issue today and they were right on it. I will not spend my money anywhere else. They treat you like Family.

Golden Eagle Coins really needs to work on their web-site and paypal. I have used paypal many years and have never seen it used this way as I was attempting to make a purchase. Really freaked me out and backed out.

I called about the status of my order. I asked why it won’t ship until 6/8 when the check posted on 5/25 (money WAS removed from my account). She said that they wait until the check clears before shipping. I explained AGAIN that they already had my money (according to my bank). She then said that there were a lot of orders and there was a backlog. She did all of this without my account number or order number. She never asked for either! When I said she was changing her story, her attitude changed and she asked if I wanted to talk to someone else.

I was transferred to Amy. It was the same attitude. She kept interrupting me to try and explain everything away before she heard my full complaint. I couldn’t even finish some sentences without her interruptions. After trying the standard excuses, the other girl was new, etc., she told me the is a 10 day hold on all checks…no matter what. I didn’t see that on the website anywhere.

The check has cleared…you have my money…I want my order!

Anyway…I’m done ordering anything from these guys. If you have a problem, customer support is not friendly and won’t help. The worst part is they don’t seem to care about helping you with any problems.

$200 worth of silver signed for never was delivered.

Got my order of three uncirculated one ounce gold coins on time and in exactly the condition I expected. Would order from them again and would recommend them to others. I’m not the type to leave reviews unless it’s a bad review, but since we’re talking about a 6K purchase I thought I pass on my positive transaction

Apparently I'm not the only one with long shipping delays. Could coins advertised as "in stock" actual have to be acquired before re-selling? Grading system is more lenient than other suppliers. What would be a "good" elsewhere ends up as a "very good" with Golden Eagle. Worse of all, buyers are forced to set up an account before being able to order. This is not done with most reputable on-line sellers of any items.

LONG time customer. I usually place several orders a year. Never a prob. only once actually and during this last year. I called and a nice woman (sorry forgot her name) on the phone upgraded some of the coins (very cool) on my order (that never happens w/ coin co's) and shipped it out 2 day. BTW I'm on the West Coast so opposite end. Their shipping is always great. 5 Stars.
