It was a really fun, relaxing workshop. Ollie has lots of supplies, explains everything very well. The pacing was perfect. A very fun evening and the candles turned out great.

I had a great time in Golen Fords.
Really enjoyed making candles! Could choose 3 different scent out of 7 . Was lovely that we could choose the colours of that 3 different scents as well and at the end the decoration of the top of candles was fun too!
Had a lovely evening with a friend.
100% recommend it xx

What a great evening,
Just returned from a candle making class, and it was such fun and a great event. Ollie was very friendly and chatted to us through out the whole experience about why you did certain things.
I would highly recommend this whether you are a party or just a couple, who want to do candle making
We will be back and will definitely visit the cafe that is on site too

Went with my son to Ollie’s candle making session. Was a fab experience and came away with some beautiful candles and wax melts. Very sociable and hospitable and fun way to spend a couple of hours.
Ollie is a fabulous host and the experience was 100% worth it.

I had a really lovely time at the candle-making workshop on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a friendly group of strangers who were easy to chat with. Ollie, the candle master, was brilliant – full of knowledge, stories from his time in the industry, and lots of helpful tips that made the process smooth and fun.

I went back the next day to collect the set candles and enjoyed a great coffee at the little farm café nearby – a peaceful spot right in the Chantries, perfect for a calm Sunday morning. Highly recommend this workshop for anyone looking for a creative, no-fuss experience. I’ll definitely be back with my daughter!

Oli is very knowledgeable about candle making having worked with some of the big names in the candle world. A fun experience, very well organised.

The cafe is wonderfully rustic and in a very beautiful countryside location, welcoming and good coffee.

We had a really fun time with Ollie who guided us expertly through the candle workshop. We laughed and chatted in the beautiful, relaxed environment he's created. The location is stunning, although hidden away, so the directions were useful. We came away with several candles of various fragrance/design that we created ourselves under Ollie's expert tuition. I would thoroughly recommend the candle workshop as a fun activity with friends and would also make a great gift.

What a lovely couple of hours we enjoyed (daughter and I) learning the art of candle making, drinking coffee (fizz was available) and chatting to the lovely Oli. Of course we recommend him.

They were so pleased with them.

The session was fabulous, we thoroughly enjoyed it and the host, Ollie, was amazing. We made some beautiful candles in an array of colours and scents including some glitter for that extra sparkle.

The layout of the room was perfect allowing plenty of room to gain access to all the materials. Ollie has some exciting plans to renovate the room which will complete a perfect package.

Ollie, thank you for an amazing session and will mostly definitely see you again.

Ollie was a great host. A group of 4 of us went and had a wonderful time learning to make candles.
We all said how nice and relaxing it was now that the nights are drawing in.
