SCAM

Paid for golf clubs – no delivery, fraudulent online retailer

I ordered a set of Ping i15 4-PW irons from The Pro Golf Hub (theprogolfhub.co.za) and paid R3,100 by EFT.

After payment, I contacted the company regarding delivery and tracking. Despite repeated enquiries, I have not received the goods or independently verifiable courier tracking.

I have subsequently reported the transaction to my bank's fraud department and requested recovery of the funds.

I am posting this based on my own direct experience so that other South African consumers researching this retailer can exercise caution before making an EFT payment.

Important: The business now appears to be operating another online golf website under the name ZA David's Golf Clubs (zadavidsgolfclubs.co.za).
