Please stay away from these scam…

Please stay away from these scam artists and animal murderers. Place a $300+ order. Charged me $90 for overnight shipping. Shipping was 2.5 days to arrive since shipped (2 weeks after order). Everything was dead and each fish was in barely a gulp worth of water. Offered only $54 store credit for one time and if fish arrive dead again, no second chance. Why would I order another fish from these heartless people when I would just be paying another $90 to ship? Rude and unapologetic. Even their fine print says to keep your opinions to yourself when you fill out the loss form. I should have looked at reviews first as they have been killing animals for years and stealing money. I am in such awe that they can still be allowed to operate. Just horrible!!!!!!!

Zero customer service

The day after placing an order I received an email stating my order was refunded with no explanation. The order has NOT been refunded. I replied to the email (same as the one provided on the website) and no response. I contacted via the webform and messaged on Facebook and Instagram and still no response. I had to file a dispute with the credit card company. The website does not provide a phone number, so there is no legitimate way to contact this business.

This is never a company to order fish…

This is never a company to order fish from. I ordered 1 fish and after getting a receipt for payment. I can’t get a response or shipping number from anyone. The email is bogus. You have to dig to find an email address that doesn’t get kicked back. No one responds to emails, instagram or phone calls or texts. I gave them 2 weeks after I ordered and still nothing. I have since asked for a refund and still nothing response. I have filed a report for fraudulent activity and filed a report with the BBB. Never order anything from goodjoseph fish store. Never!

Straight up fraud!!!

Back again! It’s 5/18/24 and STILL have not received a response, a refund, or the items I paid for. Please believe I am a real person!! PLEASEEEEEEE DONT ORDER FROM THEM!!! Now, after doing some research, Ive read tons of reviews of people with similar stories. Im so irritated by this!! I paid $421 for absolutely nothing!! Dead on arrival fish, and the other half my order just not delivered! And still haven’t even received $180 worth of items… that this random phone number keeps reassuring me about. I will continue to post reviews and fill this thing up with my story!! I’ve also contacted the Better Business Bureau about this joke of a company. If you want to read the story, just scroll down. I believe they are located in Tampa, FL. (332)255-1738 (via their Facebook page). And the random guy on the phone is (689)388-2107. From what I can gather, they advertise that they have EVERYTHING in stock at all times to get your money. Then they source fish and plants from real companies, but take months to do so. Or just outright lie about what they can get and when. If I would’ve known they were out of the 2 main things I was ordering for… I obviously would’ve waited!! All the reputable fish stores I usually order from said (honestly) that they were out of these 2 things. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Horrible communication, horrible customer service

Horrible communication. I placed an order on March 16, 2024 and after a couple weeks I reached out via Facebook, Instagram and email inquiring about my order. After several attempts they finally responded to a message on Facebook and said that my order would be shipping soon. They ended up ordering my fish through another fish seller and when I finally got my order on April 10, 2024 most of the fish were DOA. I contacted GoodJoseph that very day and on April 17th they said they would give me a refund. It has been a few weeks since then and I still haven't received a refund or any further communication. Just an unserious company.

Won’t Trust Them With an Order Again

I contacted them several times for shipping information and I didn’t get a tracking number at any point, the fish just showed up at my door. It was incredibly lucky I was home at the time, as I was running late. What’s worse is one of them appears to have parasites and likely won’t survive. Hoping it didn’t infect the other fish it was bagged with and am praying that with medication it will pull through. I’m so so saddened by this experience.

Absolutely do not spend your money…

Absolutely do not spend your money here. They are liars and will not ship your fish/issue a refund. I had to get ahold of Paypals fraud department to get my money backThe customer service at Goodjosephlivefishstore is friendly and helpful. They are quick to respond to emails and they are always willing to help.

Surprised and very satisfied

I haven't had much luck buying my fish on line till now. I received my order very quickly and all the fish were very healthy. Now 3 days later every one is doing great and look very happy. Thanks Good Joseph's 😊

The prices at Goodjosephlivefishstore…

The prices at Goodjosephlivefishstore are fair. They are not the cheapest, but they are not the most expensive either. The quality of the fish is also fair. Some of the fish are healthy and active, while others are not.

The customer service at Goodjosephlivefishstore is friendly and helpful. They are quick to respond to emails and they are always willing to help.

Overall, Goodjosephlivefishstore is a good option for those who are looking for a wide variety of fish at fair prices. The quality of the fish is also fair, and the customer service is friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend!!

First order was not successful however reached out to owner and had a replacement shipped immediately. Products listed were available, pricing is reasonable and shipping was fast! Our eel is doing great and thriving!

Weird customer service and shoddy practices.

Weird customer service. Placed an order for overnight shipping. They then proceed to TEXT my personal phone from my order slip to let me know they will be changing my shipping to USPS. I declined stating I wanted the services I paid for.

Saw a few other people showing screenshots of weird text messages from the same “owner”, and when I pointed that out to him, or her, those were removed from all their comment sections.

Beyond weird experience, said it was refunded and cancelled, but still no email to confirm that. Will give it a day or two before contacting my bank to fix it.

*I did receive cancellation confirmation hours later, and it was refunded to my original purchase method with no need to contact my bank for further assistance*

Still weird. Stop texting customers from personal order slips from a phone number not listed as the business number; very unprofessional. If you’re going to decide to make changes to customers’ orders, at very least put that somewhere on your website. Disappointed, as the fish seem gorgeous on the site and would have loved to try them, but it screams “more hassle than it’s worth” to me from my only experience.

Y’all would bring me back to this review MONTHS later because I was notified you are once again trying to remove it. You can try to continue to disagree with my review after all this time, but I have all of the correspondence from May. My review is 100% solid and truthful. Sorry it hurts your ratings, but do better 💟

Charged for Female Gourami I did not Receive.

I ordered a female Gourami. Given the expense of shipping, I added a four pack of catfish. I only received the catfish. They came from a different company that informed me Good Joseph sources from other companies, so they weren’t responsible for the missing order. I wrote good Joseph online about paying for a female Gourami I did not receive… Crickets. I had to resolve my problem five days later by engaging on the chat. That resolution only refunded the price of the Gourami. While other fish had out of stock tags, the female gourami did not, yet I was told they were not in stock for a replacement (my choice, as the whole reason I ordered was the female gourami).

Bottom line do not order, unless you are willing to receive a partial order for the same shipping and are willing to pursue refunds yourself.

Good online fish store

Order takes about a week to process, but fish arrived quickly and in good condition. I was very happy with my experience and highly recommend if you are trying to order fish online. The customer service is phenomenal.

Order was received in a correct and…

Order was received in a correct and timely manner.
Unfortunately all but 3 out of 16 of my fish have died. Water has been tested thoroughly and nothing is wrong with water or water temperature. If the company makes it right I will update my review.
Update
now all 16 fish have died.
The other fish in aquarium are doing just fine
I contacted customer service on their website, but unfortunately I have not heard back.
Guess I have to contact my cc company for a charge back, too bad
