I have a non-profit 501c3 organization

I have a non-profit 501c3 organization, and I was applying for grants. I had to send my information to Goddstack for approval.
Initially, I wasn't approved, and I did not give up! I kept in touch with Goodstack until we finalized my papers.
After I was approved, Goodstack actually celebrated with me and sent kind emails.
Thanks, Goodstack, for supporting my vision to help individuals in the arts.

Exceptional and prompt support for NGO verification

The verification process for our NGO was seamless thanks to the incredible support team. They were exceptionally prompt in their replies, sent helpful reminders, and thoroughly answered all our questions regarding the required paperwork. I truly appreciate how much effort the support agents put into helping our organization successfully navigate the process. Goodstack requested official proof, then rejected us with a contradictory response

We are Club Baloncesto Tramuntana, an inclusive nonprofit sports club in Spain, officially registered in the Register of Sports Entities of the Balearic Islands, with statutes approved by the competent public authority.

Our organization works through inclusive sport with people with physical disabilities, cognitive disabilities, and neurodivergent conditions in accessible mixed environments.

Carmela told us that, for Spain, the eligibility definition includes “Other Nonprofit Entity such as sports club, federation or professional association,” and asked us to submit additional documentation issued by our local regulator for review.

We did exactly that and provided the registration resolution, the certificate confirming approval of our statutes and the statutes filed in the registration process.

After that, Arulraj replied with a generic statement saying that our organization does not meet the country criteria, without identifying any specific legal reason, documentary deficiency or policy ground.

That is the issue. Carmela stated that sports clubs in Spain can be eligible and requested regulator-issued evidence; Arulraj then rejected the application without addressing that evidence or explaining what exact requirement we supposedly fail to meet.

This was not a transparent or substantive review process. It was an inconsistent and opaque exchange of template responses.

If sports clubs like ours are not actually eligible in Spain, that should be stated clearly from the outset. If they are eligible in principle, Goodstack should explain why an officially registered nonprofit sports club with a clearly social mission was rejected after providing exactly the documents requested.

At present, the process appears contradictory, unsupported and unfit for organizations expected to rely on Goodstack for nonprofit verification.

I received a very quick and positive…

I received a very quick and positive response.

The only document I submitted was the organization certificate, and I was prepared to provide additional testimony if requested.

Fortunately, no further documentation was requested.

Instead, I received a congratulatory message, and my organization was officially allowed to use the nonprofit cost‑reduction privilege.

This recognition is a significant milestone for us, and we are grateful for the opportunity.
