Exceptional service!

I went to Goodwill on University Ave., San Diego to donate a bag of women's clothing. When I scooped up some things that had spilled over in the car, I mistakenly picked up a pair of expensive jeans that I had planned on returning so, it was mixed in with the donations. Long story short, they were kind enough to keep an eye out for the item and called me when they found it. Really above and beyond service. Thank you!

How do you think their employees are…

How do you think their employees are not very happy with the manager Katrina working down at the Goodwill retail store anymore. Major Katrina, she is very mean that's not to all the employees he's bringing me that's not to all the customers. Is it very mean that's not to all that Duluth quarter managers?

rude employees

I usually like everything there is to like about goodwill. However, recently I decided to check out a goodwill which I've not been to in several years. Its located in Long Beach ,Ca at this address" 800 W Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90806". The minute myself and two co-workers walked in, we were treated in a negative way. First off, we were all followed around the store , we each felt extremely uncomfortable. Not a soul who worked there, including security were helpful or kind. They even lied and told us the dressing room was closed, yet we watched others go in and out. I overheard with my own ears, the security guard say," i dont know which to keep my eyes on". One lady asked my friend where a top had gone she had in her basket, after my friend told her she decided not to get it. She demanded to know as to where it was left. My friend had to literally take her back to the location of the shirt which was with the others. I was questioned about a candle which clearly I put back after the rudeness we experienced. Last, we were told not to return as we walked out. So, I had a pretty negative experience at this particular store. The only negative experience ever with a goodwill . To top it off, i had just gotten off a twelve hour shift at the hospital, as I am a certified RN. My friends also both registered nurses. My friends and i thought we might unwind and do a little thrift store shopping,in hopes of finding vintage clothing and possibly home decorations or even furnishings..
The last thing we expected after a long day at work, were rude as can be goodwill employees. I will not return to the store again. Atleast, not the particular store im writing about. Thank you for your time

Goodwill North Adams Mass

This particular store seems to become very unethical lately. They are selling these big jewelry jars to the public as jewelry at the jewelry counter. When in fact most just contain broken bits and pieces and for the price it is a disgrace. It makes you wonder where he real jewelry is going. Hopefully not out the back door. Myself and friend have had the same experience. Another friend went in and I quite about one that will be selling for a hundred dollars it was only half full because the clerk stated it was still being worked on. He took a quick look and discovered it was just scrap as well. This store has had managers fired from theft a few times. The employees talk. An employee told me friend that The last one was actually set up and found to have been covering cash and Gold in the office hidden away. The community trusts goodwill as I myself have always too but lately over the past couple of years we were made aware of unethical actions from this store. My husband and I were waiting for the store to open one day and witnessed a overnight employee loading bags of clothing and other goods into the back of his truck just before store opening. If these employees and managers can't be trusted then neither can goodwill be trusted. There are better and other thrift stores to shop and donate too.
