I have been using this company and it was okay so far until I found myself in this situation. I’m stuck in the Sultanate of Oman, Muscat because of the current political situation. Airports are suspending all flights. I’m going to explain everything through these emails that I sent to this company and they cancelled my transfer from Venice airport to my home without my consent.
I simply ask them for Assistance and they cancelled my ticket. I’m going to copy past exactly the correspondence between me and this unprofessional unfriendly unpleasant people in this company. Unfortunately the drivers are very nice but the administration and the management is rubbish, BE aware : here is my story -

I am writing to formally complain about the complete cancellation of my booking (Booking number: FD6Y8432).
I would like to clearly state that I never requested the cancellation of this transfer. In my previous message, I only explained my situation and asked about the possibility of an alternative solution or a refund At no point did I authorize or confirm any cancellation request.
I am therefore very concerned that:
- My booking was cancelled without my consent.
- A cancellation indemnity of 42.40 EUR has been applied.
- This action was taken despite the fact that I purchased the “No Worries” policy, which was intended to protect my booking and provide flexibility.
Given these circumstances, the cancellation and the applied charge are unjustified.
Please provide an immediate explanation for:
- Why my booking was cancelled without my explicit authorization.
- Why a cancellation fee has been charged despite the No Worries policy.

TODAY 4th March my complain and problem was sorted in a very amicable way and very understandable way after I was offered the three options and finally I had to choose unfortunately the one with a refund I don’t know yet how much is the refund but I was offered in that refund, which I accepted since I have no other date of return yet.

Spletna stran je urejena, na njej hitro najdeš podatke in razpoložljive relacije. Če z gooptijem potuje skupina je ta vrsta prevoza kar draga (4x45eur), če pa je en sam pa je zelo ugodno (45eur) - vsaj tako je bilo v moji izkušnji.
Na beneškem letališču je iskanje goopti zbirnega mesta preprosto. 15 min pred odhodom nas je šofer poklical, bil je točen, dosleden, prijazen in profesionalen. Vožnja je bila super, kljub temu da je bila v kombiju še ena manjša skupina.
The website is well organized, and you can quickly find information and available routes. If a group is traveling with GoOpti, this type of transport is quite expensive (4x45eur), but if you are alone, it is very affordable (45eur) - at least that was my experience.
At the Venice airport, finding the goopti meeting point is easy. The driver called us 15 minutes before departure. He was punctual, consistent, friendly, and professional. The ride was great, even though there was another smaller group in the passenger van.

This was my first time using GoOpti, so at the beginning I was a bit worried. However, I must admit I was very positively surprised.
I used their service on the Trieste–Ljubljana and Piran–Trieste routes. They contacted me exactly as promised, and the transport was punctual and well organized.
What is also worth mentioning is that GoOpti really does not cancel transfers — on my return from Piran to Trieste I was the only passenger, and the transfer still took place.
I am very satisfied with the service and hope the company will continue to expand to other countries. Highly recommended.
