The gopro 11 that I have , has a lot of problems. One time the camera fogged up inside. I complained to the company they asked me my information and address for replacement and I did not have any more contact from them.
Now the 100 dollars waterproof case, the clip broke so easier due the poor quality.
DO NOT BUY . CHECK ANOTHER CAMERAS from different companies.

I've been unable to record a simple video in a cold environment because the camera heats up after 2 minutes, therefore it created condensation on the lens and you're not able to wipe it off.

Disappointed in GoPro's Lack of Support – Never Buying Again
I’ve been a long-time GoPro user, but after this experience, I’m done. I own a GoPro HERO8 Black, which was working perfectly fine until a firmware update pushed by GoPro rendered my SD card unreadable. I’ve tried multiple SD cards, as advised, but the issue clearly stems from their update.
When I reached out for support, GoPro’s response? Pay for their subscription service to get a replacement—on top of the camera I’ve already paid for. Are you kidding me? The fact that a company as large as GoPro can’t stand by its product or offer a real solution when their own update breaks it is absolutely ridiculous. They essentially told me to search the internet for old firmware myself.
GoPro, if you break my camera, you should fix it without forcing me to shell out more money for a subscription. This is not how you treat loyal customers. I will never purchase GoPro products again and will be switching to a brand that actually cares about supporting its users.
GoPro used to stand for quality and innovation, but their customer service and handling of issues have been a massive disappointment. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
New to Gopro and very happy
A couple of months ago I brought the Hero 12, with free 12month subscription, directly from Gopro. I got plenty of updates about shipping and the item arrived on time without any issues.
The camera is well built and has proven to be easy to use and produces excellent footage.
I also brought an extension pole and a chest harness (separately) and found the quality to be equally as good as the original camera.
All in all, I'm really happy the service and will certainly be buying from them again.

I am a horse rider and on my second GoPro. The camera is fairly easy to use when I'm out riding but that is where the quality ends. I can never get the camera to connect to the app, it just switches itself off, I always struggle to delete files from my SD card, which I need to do every time I ride, and trying to download video footage off the camera is just near impossible - and this is with the help of my husband who is a tech guru. For what these cameras cost, the app and use outside of just recording on the camera is appalling. Its no wonder there are so many of these for sale, used. So disappointing!

Customer service is a disgrace!! They have promised me a refund going back around 7 weeks and still nothing. They keep sending me emails to say the payment will be processed in 5 - 7 working days but the refund never comes though. Then I get back in touch with customer services again and go round and round on the roundabout being told the same story again and again!! avoid like the plague!!! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!!!

Once youve spent hours editing the footage into an edit the app crashed on export and corrupts the file. the useless advice given by customer support is to clear the cache and memory and turn on and off etc. Nothing makes a difference. Then they say its the phone nit good enough even though im running a pixel 8 pro. Looks like a great product if you ever get one. My order is lost in space with endless UPS emails saying it is stuck in the Netherlands. When you order through the gopro website advertised in GBP you expect it to come from a UK source - Nooooooo.
The only way to chase my lost order is through online chat or call back - they never call back. They cannot actually do anything in the online chat because they don't understand plain English or the process. They know how to refuse a refund though when you ask for one. There is no escalation process either. I'm not sure of the answer here other than my money has been stolen by GoPro and looks like my order is lost in Courier world. Ive paid and activated the subscription app which will probably run out before I ever get to use it.

I only wanted a bit of advice
Hello,I called Gopro regarding an issue with the creator 12 mod case. It was a bit of a struggle to hear the adviser as it's a call centre. I had to end the call, a lady called me back and I could hear and understand her a bit better. I explained my issue and she was really nice and helpful and discussed my issue with her boss. The lady told me they would send out a replacement case which I have had a few emails from Gopro and an email from the courier stating it will arrive tomorrow. For the way Gopro have dealt with my issue and being really helpful I have left a 5 star review. Many thanks for your assistance.

The worst piece of overpriced junk technology known to mankind.
Their technical team don’t even know how this crap product works, and then they tell you they’ll get back to you and never do.
For something that is used on odd occasions, the batteries are always flat and worse, take forever to charge back up. Prime example, have had it on charge for over 3 hours and only showing 1%!!
Asking to do an update, so you confirm and it won’t do it as there’s not enough charge. Absolute garbage, and all they do is keep marketing their new products and smash you with emails.
My advice would be to stay away from such aged technology. Phones do a much better job and you can access your data immediately and share it immediately.
These GoPro’s are just a total waste of time and money, and cause frustration.

I don't normally write reviews but this company has gone to the dogs.. been a loyal customer to GoPro from pretty much the being of their journey and used to get expectational support back in the day! recently made a mistake on an order and returned but can I get a refund out of GoPro? Issuse with UPS out of the Uk then they finally receive the order back and 10 days since nothing.. Not even an email to say received and working on it? Can I get any support? No. Lost count of the amount of chats been on wait ridiculous amount of time to then be fobbed off with no information what is happening and told to wait for the team to get back in 48 hours?? seriously thinking of looking at DJI as never have an issue with them with my drones.. GoPro support took 40 minutes on live chat to agree to an RMA, and the RMA process was very difficult.
The replacement camera developed a similar fault and support was even worse the second time around.

Gopro support in Australia is very unreliable and practically useless. They don't follow through on agreements and it feels like you're taking a large gamble with the process.
For the RMA, I was told to send my GoPro to an address with an RMA code. They were supposed to send a follow up RMA email with more details but it was never sent. The email also said that email replies were enabled for my email, but they do not work.
The only way to contact them is from receiving a call during business hours. What's more is the support staff are useless, and don't follow through with what they say. It is a terrible process, and I have lost all trust for Gopro.
I am incredibly suprised how such a company can have such a useless support service.

I was having a problem with my GoPro but unable to get technical support on the phone. They require you to send a request and then expect you to sit by the phone to wait for support. They do have you select in the morning or afternoon. I can't wait a half day to get support. Plus they keep changing the size and batteries so that you have to buy multiple chargers, batteries. I'm going to look into other similar products with better customer support and better pricing. I do like a lot of the features but with this recent experience, I will start researching alternatives for future purchases.
