Spectacular Service at Gordon Ramsay Plane Food…

Getting in touch to provide some feedback on just how good service is at gordon Ramsay plane food restaurant in LHR T5.

Lidiana was our server at half five in the morning and she sparkled even at that early hour. She was attentive, cheerful, interested to know where we were off to. She gave us the perfect start to our holiday.

Oil soaked dripping food

Oil soaked dripping food, flavor = oil taste.
Better watch the show than eat the food served here, can’t see why the restaurant is copying horrible food.

Not friendly at all and had to pay much for fake Coca Cola $5,19

Don’t go. Take heed.

Went to Heddon Street Kitchen. What a grimy, filthy, unclean place this really is! The table was wiped down in front of us with a dirty rag and only 2/3rds of the table wiped with the cleaning agent still on the table when the cutlery and side plate arrived in a ‘plonk down’ fashion. The menus were worn, tired, and grubby. Not a good start. I only wanted a simple light refreshing dish and ordered the tuna tartare. My wife ordered fish and chips. Mine arrived and it looked unappetising and tasted disgusting. Great big lumps of tuna put together on a mushy mash of strange tasting avocado. Tasted old and stale. And the whole dish was layered with a broken pile of what tasted like dried pasta! No condiments on the table, and no lemon to squeeze over it. Lemon did arrive after asking- a half a lemon plonked on a plate - how very appetising!! . All in all a sorry looking plate of food. My wife’s fish and chips were presented on a plate as if they were thrown on. The fish was fine but the batter was a layered matt of batter. The mushy peas were not minted or in any way special. Our local chip shop beats this hands down. Gordon. You are a total rip off. Your food is way below par. Given that you shout, holler, swear like an uneducated lout and bully the restaurant owners and staff on tele about how bad their restaurants are. Well you ought to do something about yours. And I suggest close them and learn to turn out decent food before you reopen them. So take your head out of your backside and stop ripping us - the public - off. And as for the 15% service charge. What a friggin joke. You really couldn’t run a bath let alone a restaurant. Thank you for wasting both my time and money at your rip off restaurant. Never again!!!!

My wife

My wife, son, his fiancé and I, went to the Dallas STK restaurant. We arrived on time (7:45pm) and were seated within 15 minutes. Drinks (water, tea and wine) came 35 minutes later. Ordered the Tomahawk steak for 3 of us while my wife ordered fish and chips. We ordered 2 sides as well. The dinner came 40 minutes after ordering. We're good at this point. It would take 45 minutes to get a refill. The food prices are beyond inflated for the quality! $160 for the Tomahawk and $12 for the dollop of Truffle Butter on it (which we didn't ask for). Fish and Chips were $63! That dish included 2 fish sticks that were 5 inches long and 1 inch wide along with about 15 fries. AND THE SMELL! Whoa!! Pee YU! It was bad to say the least. We ordered 2 deserts with ice cream. The 2 scoops of ice cream (smaller than a cue ball) were 10 dollars each while the actual deserts were $20 each. $60 dollars total for Blue Bell Ice Cream with apple pie and a chocolate cake that was nothing to write home about. My wife and I, as well as our sons and daughter, have traveled the world and have eaten at really good restaurants. This is a good place to eat if the bill is at $225 (w/o tip). The bill, including tip, was $525.00 plus. We left a $100 tip because it was a full restaurant and our server was working hard. One last thing. The website is deceiving. This is a bar with a DJ and is VERY LOUD. You can barely hear the people at your table. I've been to all but one or two of Gordon's restaurants and have liked them all (basically, the restaurants in Las Vegas). We won't be back or recommend this one to anyone.

Working For Gordon Ramsey?

My son worked for GRR for a short period as a Senior Chef De Partie. Owing to very poor conditions (mainly stemming from wrong payments, poor communication and the HR department getting things wrong time and time again) he, and 5 colleagues all resigned at the same time. They were all totally dispirited and disillusioned with working for Gordon Ramsey. It didn't stop there tho. He got another job and things seem to be going well - but because Ramsey's HR department are totally inefficient, he's been put onto emergency tax code as they have not forwarded his P45 / P60 documents. So, he's now struggling to sort out his pay from his new company - all because of Ramsey's company. How many of the other leavers are having the same troubles? A worldwide name, TV personality, restaurants all over, and this is the level of treatment his staff gets? Disgraceful. I know he's considered a bully and an aggressive little man on TV but you would like to think that his company might be run along professional standards. He seems to make a big deal about other people not being professional? Anyone else had similar experiences?

Terrible Restaurant / Poor Service

I went to the Gordon Ramsey restaurant at Heathrow Airport.

I am a Type 1 Diabetic and needed a quick juice and carbohydrate.

I told the waiter and he took 20 minutes to bring juice. The French fries showed up 45 minutes later.

My blood sugar dropped to a 42 and they were not helpful.

They then gave me a bill for 19,50 British Pounds which was $24.25 USA dollars.

The orange juice was less than 12oz
The French fries were served in a paper cup.

This restaurant is a farce and they should be shamed. Gordon Ramsey has a scam going on.

Gordon Ramsay Restaurant Battersea Power Station

Gordon Ramsay, Battersea Power Station: thanks to our waitress for being so attentive and helpful. Delicious meal, lush cocktails. We were the two who asked for our food to be delayed so we could grab icecreams from Venchi before it closed. First time eating dessert before dinner. 😀

So many empty tables, yet we had to wait until 6. We gave our phone and they never texted us. It is 2 hours later and still nothing.

Terrible waiter

This rate isn’t because of the food, but rather one of the staff. He forgot to bring us our drink, he didn’t give us cutlery even after the food was served, he didn’t get us napkins. He didn’t check back to see if the food was ok, which it wasn’t. He’d said he’d make sure the wings only had a little sauce, they were covered and in a flavour I didn’t order. We felt due to this service we didn’t feel inclined to pay the service tip, but said we’d pay the rest. He didn’t ask why we wouldn’t pay it, just acted very off with us. Then we realised we been charged for something we didn’t order. Another staff member heard us talking to each other about it and said she’d check with her manager. The manager was lovely. He listened to our experience and offered us free desserts, which we accepted. Then this is when it gets bad… while the manager was sorting our deserts, the waiter who originally served us came over to us and started a conversation aggressively with us. His opening sentence was “Why did you go above me if you had a problem” this very quickly escalated to him being sarcastic, then to venting his anger shouting and telling my friend she could never come back to the restaurant. When the manager came over with our desserts he was quite shocked to hear about his staffs actions. Especially as he’d already tried to rectify his initial wrong doings. He said he would talk to him about his actions. I still left feeling humiliated and disappointed.

Myself and my Husband recently went to…

Myself and my Husband recently went to the 02 branch for a show, the band Duran Duran where playing. We had to have a quick bite to eat so we decided to stop off at Street burger by GR. To our suprise the food came out exceptionally quick and our waiter was ontop of his game, always checking up on us to see if we needed anything, clearing our table even if there was a small piece of paper just sitting there, empty glasses and unwanted sauces where removed immidiately which such a breath of fresh air becasue it gave us so much Room to enjoy a conversation without having to worry about gettingfood on our cloths. Outr Waiter was a South African guy very charming, and seemed alot older than the other staff so he knew exactly what he was doing, very experainced and professional, so polite. We will also be stopping of near Charing Cross Soon for the Kings Corination so we will definitly look up a GR street burger nearby. Thanks Luke our time there was amasing.

Bread street kitchen battersea

Went with a friend to have dinner tonight in the restaurant. Have a fish dish with poor presentation and very salty. I was asking for tap water but instead I got to serve still water only with extra pay. 15% service charge should be optional and the waiter didn’t even ask whether I want to pay for that or not. Cocktails drink is around 15 each which is so expensive. End up two persons spending over 160 pounds with such poor service and poor dish, I won’t be coming back.
