I wanted to buy UHU but the shop didn't have it and Gorilla Glue contact adhesive looked like a suitable alternative. I was a bit expensive - £10 for a tube. Tried to use it to glue some pieces of car... See more

Product gets hard

I have to keep buying this product as it goes hard in the bottle. And that is with both caps on? It was expensive so I think I will have to find something else. It's a good product otherwise.

Never use this glue

Never use this glue, especially on a craft project. It does not “grab”, you’ll be sitting there holding your project together for 10-15 mins before it grabs and you can leave it to dry. I ran out of Super-Glue and tried it a 2nd time, and it didn’t even hold after 5 mins of sitting holding it together. Terrible glue. Go with Super Glue, it’s so much better. Lesson learned for me, I threw all the little vials of Gorilla Glue right into the garbage. Awful stuff.

Bought two different types of glue from…

Bought two different types of glue from this company. Got suckered by the hype, I guess. Freakin useless. Concrete cement didn't do a damn thing except for contaminate the area I was using this over-priced garbage on. Clear glue, same deal but on a simple plastic part.
Never again.

Terrible Super Glue - Avoid

I used the super glue to to make a repair to my trainers, I was attempting to glue the rubber sole that goes over the front of the trainer that had come unstuck. The packaging states that the glue can be used for rubber and more, that it fasten in 10 seconds and has high strength. The glue did not stick and has caused damage to my trainer. I contact the customer service who have been dismissive and unhelpful stating the glue is not designed for rubber onto suede material, yet there packaging does not state that, it only states some plastics that it cannot be used on. This is a terrible product, falsely advertised, and awful customer service. I would not recommend this product to anyone, rather repair it damages.

It doesn't work!

It says on the tube 'REPOSITIONABLE'. Unfortunately it is so repositionable, that what I was trying to stick (and I tried more than once), repositioned itself right off where it was supposed to be stuck! It is not cheap and as others have said, a total waste of money

It's rubbish!!

It's rubbish!!! Bought it to fix vacuum cleaner pipe. Followed all the instructions about cleaning, holding it to set then leaving it for 12 hours. The pipe snapped as soon as I started. It was rubbish on a wooden drawer too. Wish I'd read the other reviews on here before wasting my money.

Utterly useless product

Utterly useless product, Sticks everything but what you want to stick to what you are applying too, impossible to get off, more like gloss paint than glue.

Gorilla is the best there is!

Gorilla is the best glue brand I have ever used. It always bonds incredibly well and has no run so when you glue on a vertical surface it does not drip down the surface. Gorilla products are more on the expensive side but the are worth every penny. 5 stars.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Followed all instructions and dampened one surface. (Cardboard) Then, tried to glue Styrofoam to it and it didn't work. Just got sticky and even after twelve ours? It was tacky, but not working as advertised.
Save your money and buy contact cement, like I should have done, in the first place. Severely over priced, for crap product too.

Polyurethane glue

Polyurethane glue. Works first time, nothing special, then next time the hlue is stuck in the bottle despite taking the precaution of squeezing all the air out.
Girilla double syringe 5 minute epoxy takes 24 hours to set by the way.

Gorilla super glue is a single use product

I purchased a bottle of gorilla super glue used it one time , the amount i used was about the size of an eraser at the end of a pencil. I closed the bottle tightly only for the next time I went to use it found the entire rest of the bottle to be completely useless as it dried up. I spent about $6. or I should say wasted $6 on this product. Unless you plan to use the bottle in its entirety at once I do not recommend this product. As a matter of fact I was informed by a friend this happened to him when he saw my unopened bottle and I dismissed his claim as though he may not have sealed the bottle properly. And as it turns out and I should have known to trust him, instead of returning the unopened bottle for a refund to purchase something I had used before and was familiar with, I went ahead and opened the gorilla super glue, used it , and sealed it tightly figuring if I don't open it until I'm ready to use it again it would be fine. I'm here to tell you I was wrong about my assumption. Please do yourself a favor , avoid this product at all costs unless you have the funds to waste or use the whole bottle in one use because yes it will dry up no matter how you seal it and no you will not have the opportunity to use it again.
