QuickBooks Online Review (Unfiltered

QuickBooks Online Review (Unfiltered, From a 15-Year Customer)
I’ve been a loyal QuickBooks customer for over 15 years, running two corporations on the platform. What Intuit has turned QuickBooks into is honestly disgraceful.
I paid $995 for QuickBooks Full Service for 2025, and four months before the subscription even expires, service is interrupted. Phone numbers are disconnected. Human support is effectively gone. You’re forced into AI loops with no escalation path and no accountability.
QuickBooks’ aggressive push toward AI has actively damaged our books:
Income randomly allocated to incorrect accounts
Expenses categorized incorrectly
Banking details mishandled
Invoices applied where they do not belong
“Automation” overriding professional judgment
This AI-first approach caused so many issues that we were forced to change accountants after 25 years, simply because firms are now expected to let QuickBooks’ automation run unchecked. That is not accounting. That is negligence disguised as innovation.
Even worse, Intuit appears to be deliberately pushing out experienced QuickBooks CPAs in favor of AI-driven “solutions” that do not understand context, nuance, or business reality.
The complete absence of human support is unacceptable for a paid financial platform handling real businesses, real payroll, and real tax exposure. This isn’t software anymore — it’s a black box you have to babysit daily to prevent damage.
Unfortunately, like many businesses, we are effectively forced to stay on QuickBooks due to ecosystem lock-in. But I now audit the system daily to make sure AI does not touch my books without review.
This decline isn’t just sad — it’s shameful.
QuickBooks has abandoned the professionals who built its reputation.
Shame on you, Intuit. Also this is my third attempt for a review .... apparently it keeps deleting itself
