A Warning to Potential Customers of…

A Warning to Potential Customers of Gothic Go

I regret to say that my experience with Gothic Go has been nothing short of abysmal. A payment of €165 was charged to my credit card for an order placed months ago, but I have yet to receive the items I paid for. Despite numerous emails and providing ample evidence, the company continues to deny the existence of my order.

I have gone out of my way to supply all necessary information to resolve this matter, including:

A credit card statement showing the transaction details, date, amount, and their company's name as the beneficiary.
Proof that the credit card is issued in my name, Frank Middendorp.
A screenshot of all possible email addresses I may have used (although I am nearly certain I used the email receiving their promotional material).
Despite these efforts, Gothic Go insists that they cannot locate the order. This is perplexing, as such a transaction cannot simply disappear from their administration. If the order wasn’t placed on their primary website, they should at least have the decency to investigate whether it was processed through one of their other platforms.

Was supposed to be a coat

The item is described as a "coat". Unfortunately after waiting for some time. It's really just a hoodie. Very light, very weak. Not for any kind of cold weather. The emailing was there, and cordial. No problem there. I would advise to look for the item elsewhere first. Where you can return easy. The site doesn't let you when you check out, it's coming from the other side of the world. That's an issue in itself.

I would give this company a zero or less if I could. Same experience as these other reviews and worse. Wish I had read it before. Don’t order anything in this website. It’s a complete fraud.

Ordered a leather jacket

Ordered a leather jacket, receive a plastic jacket. And although the package was shipped from Vernon, CA. the forced me to pay shipping and wait for the item to be return to Lithuania, and Chase credit cards allowed them to do so. Haven't seen my refund yet, but I am not holding my breath. Cost $54 to return a $95 piece of crap. This will be posted to my 7000 friends and followers on Facebook as well.

It’s a thieving FRAUD!!!

This online apparel company has all the aesthetics of a legitimate business, but they’re actually a freaking scam! I placed an order online on 09/02, and on 09/04, I received an email stating that my item wasn’t available. Instead of offering the option to refund my money, they only offered to replace the item with a similar product. I didn’t want that, so I requested a refund instead. I have sent them upward of 7-10 emails requesting a refund, and I haven’t received a single response. It’s been 10 days! I’m really afraid that they’re going to keep my money, and I’m going to be left with no product. Please steer clear from this SCAM!!!

Asked for a refund after not receiving products after 2 months. Company stated a refund to PayPal would we posted 5-10 business days. No refund. Company is a scam, do not order from them!

Absolutely trash

Absolutely trash. Placed an order almost 4 months ago, still haven't received it. Asked for a refund as shipping info hasn't updated in 2 1/2 months, and was told they don't do that because the order has been shipped? Most places will offer a refund if you haven't received the item as it must have been lost.. whatever. Crappy customer service. Don't buy.

Shipping Hell

Edit II: December 14th 2020. Still have not received the item. I have received a message from their customer service asking me if I agree to "resend." After I said yes, they have been emailing me over and over about "resending," as though I didn't agree already. If that means what I suspect it means, that they will dare to attempt to level an additional charge on my account, forget that. I hold NO confidence that even if I agreed to an additional charge that the item wouldn't just get "lost" again.
Edit: figured I would let everyone know. It's October 3rd today. The dress I bought in June is still. Not. Here. And still listed in Wuhan, China. This is not the brand you can trust by any means. I contacted them 12 days ago about a refund for the item that never came. Their response was that they would look into shipping...

Can confirm prior statements. Bought something with the intent of using it as an anniversary dress and still have not received it 7 weeks later. It STILL says it's in China.
Furthermore, I ordered something from a different company since, which, ironically, also passed through China. That came this week--ordered 3 weeks after the other you understand.
I don't know if it's all part of their plot or if they either have a really bad deal with a shipping company. They mention no cancelations until something is en route, but then also say refunds only in the first 30 days. Reading the fine print, it isn't 30 days after receiving, but 30 days after purchase. As of this week, I've hit that point, but still don't even know if my merchandise is the right size.
Because of this, even if it comes and is flawless, I do NOT recommend this company. Order from Retrostage or Hot Topic. Just spare yourself.

Do not use

Poor customer service and no returns. Item shipped from China, which incurs additional customs fee. Wrong size delivered after 5 weeks.
