The GovTech Forum is the first convention in Italy dedicated to the development of the ecosystem, both national and beyond, of digitalization in public administration and public utility services. The first edition of the GovTech Forum was held on February 28, 2024, in Milan with more than 300 participants in attendance. The second edition will also take place in Milan in March 2025, with its duration doubled to two days instead of one. The GovTech market is currently worth 116 billion euros in Europe, and in Italy, where this ecosystem reaches a value of 12 billion and shows promising results, the growth prospects are expected to reach 50 billion by 2031, with an expected impact of about +2% on GDP. 2025 edition: Rethink The pace of technological change, the rise of a multipolar and interconnected world, and the challenges of climate change are disrupting the government’s agendas. As a reaction, this may lead to a focus on issues that are closer in time and space. In a reality stuck in the present, we urge governments at any level, society and purpose-driven businesses to join forces and rethink the key aspect of the world as we know it. The people’s participation in public decision making, the way public policy is designed and delivered and the whole idea of growth and prosperity need a twist. We need to face the age of AI and global challenges without losing the angle of public value creation. The international community of GovTech will gather in Milan to rethink democracy, policy and growth and create the conditions to make new things happen. Two days of inspirational speeches, over 8 workshops, and powerful ideas to rethink society through a transformative public sector. We also host talks, but we love to think and do. The GovTech Forum is a platform where a community of practice and intent gathers. Who we are: Feel. We are an operational think tank on GovTech and innovation in the public system. We believe that public institutions can lead human progress, explore new frontiers, enable the innovators, and mobilize the resources needed to address the challenges we are facing as citizens and businesses - from systemic implications to daily life - positively shaping the digital transformation that is taking place. Feel is a space to feel, imagine and decode innovation for public goods and services.

A must-attend event for GovTech and public innovation

An inspiring and well-organized event that brought together international perspectives on the future of Public Administration, technology, and innovation. Kudos to the amazing team at Feel – Marcello Coppa, Andrea Landini, and Simone De Battisti – for creating such a human-centered space filled with valuable content, meaningful discussions, and inspiration.

It was a great opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and meet brilliant professionals who share the vision of a more innovative, efficient, and citizen-centric Public Administration. The impressive lineup of international GovTech speakers provided diverse insights on how institutions can evolve through smart use of technology.

A big thank you to everyone who made this possible. Looking forward to the next edition!
