I clicked to sign up to Gumtree on the Gumtree website, but ended up sharing my credit card details with Govulo!! I had inadvertently clicked on a Govulo ad that made it look like I was signing up to Gumtree! Crafty 😳.
I received no confirmation of my ‘registration’ from Govulo.
I have cancelled my credit card, as Govulo looks suspicious.

Like the other reviewers here, I was tricked when using another app. I used a barcode scanner when trying to set up a new email account and Govulu popped up as if it was part of the process. When I realised what had happened I cancelled my card and asked for a replacement as they had my details. Very shady practice.

AVOID. I was setting up a new Hisense TV and came to a Govulo screen which appeared to be just part of the set up. It asked for bank details which I thought was for future on screen purchases. It wasn't it was for a £39.99 pm subscription service. I contacted my bank and they blocked future payments. The company collecting the payments is called Estrivion. This in turn is linked to BDbunch.
Avoid them all!

On my phone I clicked to install the Ringo parking app and was transferred to Govulo. Thinking they were the parking app I procedded to register and then realised they were not related. Govulo said I would be charged £39.99 per month for their service.

My bank did not process the payment and have cancelled my credit card.

Govulo was obviously a permanent pop up add on my phone.

BEWARE!

This website claims they have 4.5 stars on Trust Pilot with 20k reviews. At the time of writing I am the first to review their website. I came here to check them out before putting in my PayPal or credit card details because their site claimed it was “Our content licences are only valid for certain countries. Therefore we need to verify your location with a valid credit card.”
I wanted to join their free AI course because they stated their course got 5 stars and was reviewed by over 70k people.
My experience today is worrying.
