Zero stars is not an option unfortunately. So I am going with 1 star. Although I really want to give zero.

Booked a wash (2 weeks in advance), prepaid, they took the money of course... came close to the time for the wash, and there were no reminder emails or anything. I chased them when they just didn't arrive for the wash and failed to make any contact with me whatsoever.

Turns out the operator "broke down" (I believe this to be a fabricated story), but didn't care to reach out to me or let me know that they'd broken down. I only heard about this supposed breakdown after I reached out to them.

Minimal professionalism, even less integrity.

Couldn't drive my car for a couple of weeks due to surgery, and unfortunately as it was parked underneath trees it was covered in bird droppings and tree sap all over. It'd have taken me a significant amount of effort to rectify. I got the Mini Valet Plus service with the bird dropping/tree sap removal add-ons. Marc C. came to wash the car (even though interrupted by a hailstorm for a bit!) and left it gleaming by the end. I was a bit worried that the bird droppings might have set in and be hard to remove but that wasn't the case.

Barry and Sandra did a fantastic job on my filthy car. They were prompt, quick and thorough and my car is absolutely gleaming.

Londis shell garage. There was no soap from the brushes at all. My car is still coverd in bits of leaves!! Also the attendant was rude to me in this Londis shop Yardley Wood. Worse service ever and worst car wash ever !

the guy cleaned my car very badly, he left pigeon droppings on my door and a lot of crumbs in the key rests, I do not recommend this service to anyone because when I complained I was told I had paid minimum service

You would be better going to the local supermarket car wash. Had full valet plus extras to prepare van for sale. Quality was shocking and after calling several times (no answer) and several emails they sent the same person to assess the work that did the work rather than an an independent assessor. He was very defensive and was only interested in complaining about the email we sent. Then we got email saying assistance was sent but we refused. Please do not waste your time and money on this company.

From the outset I've had a very good experience with GoWashMyCar. It's my first time using them and I needed a service that comes to me. Due to health issues, my car had not been used for quite a time and parked in a shady area, it started to look like a nature experiment. Barry was very helpful and when I explained my situation and showed photos, he assured me he could get it done for me.

He arrived well within the time slot given and I had updates every step of the way. He called when he arrived and unfortunately a very rare parked council van was parked next to my car, but he was still able to access and wash it perfectly. Took him 3 goes to get the grass and moss from the seals and trims and the algae off the roof due to it being a long time sat in one spot, but it looks as good as new. I'm extremely happy and Barry went above and beyond to help me to have a car I can be proud to drive again. I shall definitely use them again and recommend.

Only use this firm to wash your car if your car is clean, and if you have all day to waste waiting for them to turn up. My appalling experience was that I was told that my £49 mini valet was not sufficient, and that they would have to charge an additional £50. I reluctantly agreed, having waited until 4.20pm for my 8am - 12pm slot, only for the rude and grumpy guy to then refuse to wash my car. My normally immaculate car was splattered with bird poo - having left it for a week whilst on holiday. S**t happens.

Just had my filthy inside and out Smart done. Looks like new. They came half an hour earlier but that was no problem.

Utterly useless. In order to clean a car, you need to turn up to do the job, otherwise, guess what, the car won’t be cleaned.

I booked a clean for 2 Jan, 8-9am. Nobody turned up. Customer service rebooked the clean for 3 Jan, 8-9am. Nobody turned up. I then got a text from someone else claiming to do the clean. They said they would be there 3 Jan between 9-11am. Guess what…. They didn’t turn up.

Absolutely pathetic service.

As useful as a chocolate teapot.

Same exact experience as the previous review. First wash for a brand new car left it with microscratches throughout. Havent even heard back from them. I might have a chance to get awarded through a small claim court as the car is demonstrably brand new.

I have used GoWashMyCar twice.
The first time was perfect, the second time I was left with micro scratches all over the car as the wrong equipment was used, they also failed to carry out some of the extra services I paid for. The car was washed by two separate cleaners on each occasion.
I placed a complaint and dealt with terrible customer service where I was constantly prompting for a response.
Eventually a representative came to investigate the damage and told me they would report back. I have heard nothing since that.
Its very frustrating and sadly there is no recourse against GoWashMyCar but I can warn others that using their services is a lottery. You might end up with a perfectly washed car, you might end up with £500 worth of damage.

Completely unprofessional failed to turn up on two separate occasions but were still happy to charge me for it rubbish company

Turned up at my house today. Didn’t ring the doorbell. Sent me an email. Charged me £15 for a “no show”. Really unprofessional. Avoid.

Clearly there's little quality control with this company. Last year I had a most satisfactory clean/polish so booked again today. Stain spots on the dash were not dealt with. It was raining lightly and droplets were left inside the car on each door. Worst of all, a huge mess of soap suds was left all over the street and I'm having to spend time clearing up. If this is how the customer's environment is left, then the company needs to tell us beforehand.

check your vehicle 100% before you let the operative go. I sadly didn't ,as in the sunlight on the day it did look great, however in the cold light of Monday morning on my way to work, there was a visible film of dirt / haze on the windscreen I could run my finger over it and it left a visible mark,
I took one of my floor mats out because some dirt had dropped on it, and when I hit it to clean it clouds of dust came out....so much for the carpet shampoo ! I was selling the vehicle and so was not happy I sent an email.
which was promptly responded to by Iryna, promising to look into it,
a little later I received her response....Mark ( the operative ) said you were happy....and that was the sum total of customer service.
don't get disappointed go wash your car somewhere else.

Used the Alby, Norwich GoWash beforehand a really good wash. This time it was rubbish, noticed the alloys hadn’t been cleaned properly so pointed it out. Pony tail guy came and wiped them down and said ‘Happy Now?’ poor!! Got home and noticed bird dropping still on roof! Gave them a tip as well! Always need to give your car the once over. WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN!! Thank you for a rubbish wash!

Will never use them again. Misleading information from the start. Slow to reply to my attempt to reach them. Very sweet and friendly guy who did the job however, I was asked to pay more (as my car was very dirty). This I didn't mind - but was then left feeling dissatisfied with the result. Contacting them, I find their response shocking, unprofessional and frankly rude. Having paid £100 I was left cleaning the car myself. BIG warning to anyone considering using this company.
