Grail Watch Club has been handing luxury watches to lucky winners since April 2021. Founded by James Whitaker, a watch dealer and Tom “TGE” Exton, a well known face in the online car and watch space and prolific collector of both. The aim was simple; offer everyone an affordable chance at owning a dream luxury watch whilst doing our bit to support a good cause. We limit the number of entries for each competition and always aim to combine affordable ticket prices with the best odds possible. Hi Brian, I'm sorry you're dissatisfied with our business and feel inclined to leave a one star rating. As you've left an organic review (not linked to an order) and not provided any further information as to who you are, we're unable to look up your details. We can however search our order database for everyone named Brian that has bought a ticket in the time we've been trading; there are 50 in total. The vast majority of those have entered once or twice and none have spent anywhere close to £5,000.
Regardless, we operate prize competitions. "I've not won therefore it must be a scam" isn't a particularly fair appraisal of what we do or how we do it. The model is very straightforward and incredibly transparent; a set number of tickets, a set ticket price, a firm closing date and detailed information of the prize on offer. Every prize draw is conducted live and the winner is selected at random by an independent third party (randomdraws.co.uk) that is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations (ASA, Gambling Commission, CAP Codes etc.). Following the draw, random draws publish a draw certificate on their website, confirming all the details of the draw and the winner. Every entrant is able to view the draw certificate and enter their order number for independent confirmation that their entries were included in the draw. This is entirely audit proof and there is no way to "cheat" it. It's why Random Draws exists and why we (and many others) pay for their services. As mentioned above, the outcome of the draws is completely random and something we have no control over, which of course is the point. To date we've run 266 competitions and had 243 winners; 224 people have won once, 15 people have won twice and 4 people have won 3 times. To date, nobody has won more than 3. Repeat winners are relatively common for every prize comp company that has been trading as long as ours; we have people who play regularly and occasionally they get lucky more than once. We've also had plenty of people win on their first or second attempt and others who have been playing since the start who are still waiting for their first win. It's the nature of what we do and you'll see the same patterns amongst all of our competitors.
Of course, you're never guaranteed to win, no matter how often you enter. For those that do, receiving a brand new five figure watch is the experience of a lifetime. We market to adults with free will, who fancy a flutter for the chance to win a dream watch for the price of a round of drinks. Viewing prize competitions as an alternative to saving up and buying a watch, as you have alluded to, is probably missing the point somewhat and not something we'd recommend.

A watch competition you can trust.
I stumbled upon Grail Watch Club in early 2025 after finding them on Instagram. I followed along for a while before taking a proper look into the company. After checking out the current watch competition, seeing the previous winners, and doing my own research, I felt confident they were the real deal. What really drew me in were the odds — everything combined made it feel like a good bet.
I didn’t play every week, only the competitions for watches I genuinely wanted. It didn’t take long before it happened… In April 2025, I received that call from James while I was out watching the football with mates. I’ll never forget the feeling. My friend and I met James for the handover — he came across as a genuinely great guy (even without the fact he was handing me a £37k watch!).
We stayed in touch afterwards, chatting watches while I continued entering here and there. A couple of months later, I won my second watch… and not long after that, my third. At this point, I’m pretty sure James is sick of the sight of me.
All jokes aside — the competitions are 100% legitimate. The watches are real. The handovers are real. And James is a top bloke who has helped me and my friends with watch related queries/requests outside of Grail Watch Club.
If you’ve got a few quid spare and fancy testing your luck, I’d definitely recommend giving it a go. You never know — you might be the next one getting that call 🍀⌚️🔥
