Really good venue, customer service is very good always prompt replying good on wahtsapp. Floral in dome is qualty not like other venues like fake plastic shows they invested alot and always updating and starting trends.

The most stressful part of our entire wedding was dealing with the venue and the manager, Adees. Communication throughout the process was incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. Whenever we managed to get through on the phone, responses like “yeah bro” were common. Messages went unanswered, questions were ignored, and there was never any clear guidance or reassurance.

After paying a huge amount for the so-called “Golden Package,” we were repeatedly surprised with additional charges that were never mentioned in our original agreement or receipt. Two weeks before the wedding, we were suddenly told we owed £750 for “potential damage costs.”Then just days before the wedding, we were asked to pay £800 for starters that were supposedly not included — despite being clearly told otherwise. In fact, my father-in-law is good friends with the caterer for our wedding and confirmed there was no additional charge for those items. The level of greed and last-minute billing was shocking.

The most unbelievable part was the sudden change to our wedding time. Our wedding had been planned from 12pm–5pm, but three days before the big day we were informed it had been changed to 11am–4pm. Imagine the chaos this caused when we had already booked our cars, cake, makeup artists, videographers, and sent out 400 invitations with the original times. Apparently, buried in the terms and conditions is a clause that allows the venue to change the timing whenever they want. For something as important as a wedding, that is simply unacceptable.

We were also promised two car parks with parking officers to guide our guests. On the day, there was no guidance at all, and many of our guests ended up receiving parking fines. It was embarrassing and incredibly upsetting.

On the day itself, we discovered the DJ had been replaced without any notice. The replacement DJ didn’t have our playlist or the songs planned for key moments of the wedding. I had to sort this out while still sitting in my wedding car, before walking in. That should never happen on someone’s wedding day.

Please don’t be misled by their polished social media marketing. Unfortunately, my husband and I fell for it.

I do want to say that the staff working on the day were wonderful. The servers were attentive, kind, and did their best to make things run smoothly despite the issues behind the scenes. They deserve real credit, and I sincerely hope they aren’t having to deal with the same poor management.
While such a hectic day went by, we forgot about our wedding cake which was barely touched. No one bothered to inform us to collect it from the venue. However, I hope the staff at-least managed to enjoy it.

Adees — if managing weddings is overwhelming, there’s no shame in asking for help. Couples shouldn’t have to experience this level of stress on what should be one of the happiest days of their lives.

I want to give the biggest thank you to the entire team and the host at the wedding venue. The hall was beautiful and I was in awe. You all did an absolutely amazing job and helped make our day truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with such professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.

The food was incredible our guests are still talking about it! The hospitality and comfort you provided throughout the day made us feel so supported and at ease. Every little detail was looked after, and your team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly.

We also deeply appreciate the extra support you gave us on the day and the clear, consistent communication leading up to the wedding.

Thank you so much for helping create such a beautiful and memorable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a better team.

Hall was nice and clean the service was good however the ac wasn’t working which was very annoying and I felt like I was going to drown in my sweat the and the manager bilal was swearing at his waiters which I thought wasn’t nice so I think they need to get rid of him

Fantastic Mendhi venue.
The main room is incredible and the onsite staff couldn't have been more helpful or attentive to guests. Food was excellent and the compere did an amazing job with tremendous energy to ensure everyone had a brilliant time. We all have an amazing time and took away some fantastic photos and memories.

Absolutely stunning venue, the decor was more than perfect we cannot fault that part.
Customer service needs to be worked on. Food is rushed 45 mins from starter being served to dessert, we had guests who didn’t get to eat mains as plates were being removed. Our 3 year old niece had her plate removed from infront of her. When guests asked for more they were told nothing left (loads of food was left over at the end that the families took home)
When we asked for a manager Halima appeared who seriously needs to go on a customer service course. The other waitresses complained about her to us saying she thinks she’s the manager. Also said it was her instructions to remove any plates where no one was sittting (remember this was a wedding so people were having photos taken)

absolute amazing venue the decorations throughout are beautiful. It's very clean. The stage is just a WOW the quality of service from management and staff is top quality they definitely go over and beyond to make this occasion very special. Would highly recommend this venue to all.

I had my daughters nikkah here and it was the most beautiful venue I’ve ever seen. I’m so grateful they made my daughter’s day so special. They took care of everything. I was so nervous how everything will turn out but they did such a brilliant job from start to finish I had nothing to worry about. I can’t thank them enough. I recommend this venue to everyone. We hired grand botanical for my brothers wedding in January 2023. I can honestly say Brother Amraan really did deliver on all his promises. I was very impressed with the attention to detail, the level of their service, all the waiters were professional and attentive, all our guests felt very well looked after. The execution was perfect, couldn’t fault them on anything at all. Very organised, service was on time, and everything went to plan. Even the packaging of the extra food, and helping out with the cake cutting, tea serving. Everything was perfect! Would highly recommend GBS for anyone who wants a stunning venue, with an excellent team that will ensure your day goes as planned.

The most majestic venue! A hidden gem in the heart of Birmingham. This place really is magical, couldn’t have chosen a better location. Everything is so lavish & rich in grandeur. The team at Grand Botanical Suite went above & beyond to accommodate us and far exceeded my expectations. Grand Botanical is the best venue I have been to. Staff and hospitality was amazing, food was amazing! Fantastic wedding service. Stage and decoration as requested. Plenty of parking. Can’t fault this place at all.
