Family run butcher shop located in the heart of Irelands highest village in Roundwood, County Wicklow. Keith & the team have received numerous awards for quality & service over the years as well as an unexpected turn as Tik Tok celebrities! Keith's videos showing behind the scenes of life as a butcher and explaining cuts of meat, techniques and generally just annoying vegans have 10's of millions of views. Keith was born and raised in rural Ireland, with his family rearing sheep & cattle, meaning Keith has experience in all aspects of butchery from animal husbandry right the way through to the finished product on your plate. Growing up Keith was obsessed with watching river cottage re runs and this is what sparked his desire to try butchery. Upon leaving school he decided he would either be a butcher, a baker or an undertaker, perhaps luckily for everyone he tried butchering first and fell in love with it instantly. The philosophy at Keith Grant Master Butchers is having a range of products that vary from the daily essentials right the way to the most exclusive of products like wagyu. If we can be summed up in one sentence it would probably be ''passionate about quality meat and passionate about having a laugh!''

Cons and pros
I tried rushers, wagyu patties, and breaded chicken. Only complain is Wagyu patties also this can be subjective, so wagyu patties did not taste anything more than regular beef you can buy from the store, maybe they mix the regular beef with wagyu fat or it is just hype-ed piece of meet. Rushers were delightfull and I enjoyed eating them, chicken is the same.

We don't blend the wagyu with regular beef, I suppose its just one of those things where everybody has different tastes, some go crazy for them and won't eat a regular burger again and then others don't see the hype. Thanks for the feedback and the kind words about our products 🙂

Meat delivery
Made the meat order as I'm always so impressed with the quality , currently newly post partum I wanted to have a supply of bones for broth and healing meaty foods and being able to have it delivered is wonderful. I'll only be buying meat from you in the furure

Unfortunately, when it comes to Wagyu, there just is no less expensive version, so I understand that the price can seem high for steaks. If you do decide to try us again I would highly recommend getting our standard steaks as they are all Hand Selected and Dry Aged and at a very reasonable price point. Best butcher shop in Ireland
Found Keith via a Facebook recommendation in 2019 and have been a regular customer since. Family owned small business in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains. Worth the drive for the stunning landscape, as well as for the neatly and meticulously counter display Keith puts together every morning. Staff is friendly and helpful. Search all you want, but you won’t find a better butcher shop anywhere. Keith and Aisling are honest, hard-working, fun people, and everything they sell is fresh, locally sourced and top quality. You will never leave the shop without a laugh or two as Keith is great craic - and also a TikTok celebrity! We moved to Cork last year and we continue to buy from Keith. They ship their products nation-wide and everything arrives perfectly packed and fresh. The one downside of buying from Keith is that it will ruin supermarket pre-packaged meat for you permanently. You will never buy meat from supermarket shelves ever again and, if you do, it will taste like cardboard.
