Excellent quality meat, delicious. Cooked in pressure cooker, it comes out tender and moist. I like this cut of meat because it is not too fatty, but enough fat for flavor. This is one of my favorite roasts.

If you want a tender soft pot roast that will make your house smell like company is coming over later...get this and bake it in a low temperature oven for hours and hours. I love to season and then smother with red onions and cover in mushroom gravy and then bake covered for hours. It makes for a delicious dinner

My first roast preference is the chuck roast but second in line is the bottom round roast. It has a nice amount of fat on it and the flavor is as good as any cut of meat from US Wellness Meats due to the grass fed and grass finished raising of the cattle. It also comes out tender when cooked with not too high of heat or for very long.
