This is one of my favorite cuts of beef. Rich and gelatinous, with bone marrow. US Wellness provides good and consistent quality. Just wish it's cut a little thicker.

Beef shanks should be cut thick but all of these were cut too thin. Each shank was cut into two smaller pieces....why? The meat was very tough and grissly. I usually order these from Grass Roots and they are excellent but they were out so I decided to give this company a try. I will not be ordering from here again.

Love the way they slow cook so delicious,depending on the packaging most cuts I have ordered have a good ratio of meat to bone only a couple were less than expected

It was more bone than meat. I expected it to be more meaty than it was and that was disappointing. As bone broth pieces go it was alright.

These were delivered to me frozen and kept frozen till day before use. They were thawed in refrigerator. The meat smelled fresh, I cooked them and they were good.
