It is definitely worth the price, the meat was very tender and love the juices that leaked out of it. I wish I knew how to cut a beautiful prime roast like this but I am deeply satisfied with my purchase and will be purchasing more products from this site in the future.
Unfortunately I didn’t care for the standing rib roast. I got it for my husband’s birthday and It was very disappointing, the taste was off. I can’t put my finger on it but it just wasn’t right. I buy 100% grass fed beef all the time and it’s never tasted like that. It tasted bad. We didn’t eat it and threw it away, I didn’t want anyone to get sick. That was a lot of money in the garbage.
How did you all get the grass fed flavor to be so subtle?? It really is very similar to grain finished.
This particular batch was fresh, deep red, and well marbled.
So tender and flavorful, the star of our Christmas dinner!
Expensive but excellent!

I love to get the rib roasts to have on hand for special occasions. They are pricey but worth it for the quality. I do wish they had more of a fat cap, I think they trim too much of the fat. Still cooks up wonderfully and really delicious.
Tasted gamey....had much better grass fed prime ribs, this was not good

Excellent quality and taste! I was pleasantly surprised. Did the 500°blast for 30 minutes and 1.5 hours left in the oven. Turned out perfect med rare. U S Wellness Meats will be my special occasion and holiday meal go to. It's just easier than shopping around with the holiday crowds. Oh! The meat arrived 2 days after ordering, still frozen! Awesome!
The amount you get for the money is incredible. Comes frozen. After cooking low and slow, it came out perfectly juicy tender and a bit pink. U.S. wellness meats never fails to deliver top quality.
I will buy again! Just what our health-minded family needed for Christmas dinner.
We purchased this roast as a holiday dinner for a family member who was visiting us and it was delicious. Compared to a similar prime rib we got from a local rancher who raises grass fed/finished beef, it was right up there.
It was amazing! First time I made prime rib and it was an absolute hit.
