Beef Tongue is a delicacy in many cultures. US Wellness Meats has received numerous compliments from home chefs across the nation about the grass-fed Beef Tongue.
The Beef Tongue will arrive whole and raw WITHOUT corning or smoking of any sort. The skin is still on and will need peeled after you initially boil it or use your favorite technique.

Each Beef Tongue package will average between 2.2 to 3 pounds. Every tongue is different.
NOTE: Please be aware there is a small segment of hard cartilage in the back of the tongue. Keep this in mind when preparing and serving.

The tongues were very strangely contorted, two of them had only the barest resemblance of a tongue, even when thawed. Both were, in a word, skinny. I didn't mind the black splotches ( a lot) and assumed that was the cow's fault, but the thinness and the weird twisting I found off-putting. I'm probably wrong, but the flavor reminded me of meat that had been thawed and then refrozen (into little pretzle shapes.).

This tongue is very good. You have to pressure cook it longer than a regular corn-fed-beef tongue, but results are the same.

Excellent! Well trimmed and very 'clean' cooking. Price wise, tongue used to be an inexpensive cut of meat when I was growing up, but now it is a delicacy.
