Pork belly enthusiasm is spreading exponentially. Household chefs, restaurants and gourmet aficionados are experimenting with unique ways to prepare this delectable dish.
Our 4 lb fresh skin-on pork belly can be prepared as a roast, steak or sliced into bacon, kabobs or stir fry for a crispy cracklin' delight. It's not difficult to prepare and there are numerous recipes available online.
NON-gmo and antibiotic free skin-on pork belly has had nothing done to it since harvest. No cures, smoking or etc. Simply in the raw natural state.
Skin-on Pork Belly Fresh Portion - 4 lbs
Our farms are much different than conventional pig farms. On conventional farms, pigs are often kept in overcrowded pens and also administered antibiotics.
US Wellness Meats pigs are pasture-raised on family farms. They spend their entire lives roaming and rooting in green pastures. Pigs are foragers, and our pigs are outdoors every day (weather permitting) to forage for bugs, sticks, roots, etc. Since pigs have a single stomach, unlike the four-chambered stomach of cattle, we cannot raise a healthy animal on grass alone, so their diets are supplemented with non-GMO grains. They have never been administered antibiotics or added growth hormones.

Making a crispy skin pork belly is so easy I barely consider it cooking. After scoring the skin, I rub in kosher salt, sprinkle with a bit of olive oil, then bake at 325 for 1.5 hrs, then another 20 minutes at 425. it's a great treat for anyone on the AIP diet. Moist, tender meat and crunchy skin. Very yummy!
