The only reason I gave two stars for the packaging is because I really wanted to separate them and use one at a time. I could not do so because they are so large and could not be safely separated. If there is some way to divide them before freezing, it would be greatly appreciated. Other than that, they are excellent, and you are a great company to work with.

Sublimely meaty and fatty, these are excellent for making a rich, flavorful chicken stock. I pull the meat off the bones about half way through the simmering to use in soups, stir fry, and rice or noodle bowls, then continue to simmer the bones and extract all nutrients including collagen.

This was my first time ordering chicken backs from you, and I must say—the taste and quality are truly excellent! The flavor is spot-on, and the pricing is very reasonable for such a high-quality product. That said, I do have one small critique. While I appreciate the tidy packaging, freezing everything together in one big block isn’t the most convenient for me. I don’t always need a mountain of chicken backs at once, and breaking them apart feels more like an engineering project than meal prep! Overall, fantastic product, but a bit more flexibility in portioning would make it even better. Hoping for a little tweak here in the future—until then, I’ll keep my mallet handy!

I use these chicken backs when making my Chicken Broth. I roast them in the oven first and then slow cook them. The flavor of the resulting broth is wonderful. I know that this product, like all US Wellness Meats, is humanely raised and keeps us healthy.
Chicken backs are my favorite part of the chicken, except the tail. Chicken from this company taste a lot better than chicken from regular grocery stores.
