US Wellness Meats’ free range chickens are raised on pasture with a salad bar of grasses, legumes, and insects. The limited amount of grain US Wellness Meats’ free range chickens consume is Non-GMO. They are also antibiotic and hormone free.
Once you experience the flavor of US Wellness Meats’ outdoor birds, you will never want to eat commercial birds again.
Each package contains approximately 4-6 Drumsticks and averages 1.5 pounds.
All US Wellness Poultry are pasture-raised, non-gmo, antibiotic and no added hormones.

You get what you pay for and these chicken drum sticks are fabulous. May cost a tad more but worth it. Obviously, I would like to pay less. But I appreciate the farmers and all the work they go thru to give me a quality meat

These were a bit tough. I prefer smaller younger chickens I also would rather not have any soy. I know that’s available in a huge quantity that doesn’t suit me. It’d be nice if it was available in smaller quantities.

The drumsticks are very tough. Even after brining for 24 hours, the toughness reduced only a little.

Fresh chicken and pieces are medium-small. I like small legs and thighs. I dislike big ones. The flavor was wonderful and the meat tender. I also bought chicken livers which I haven’t yet cooked and chicken feet for soup as they are mostly collagen. The product looks very clean and very well packaged. I’ll be buying from them again. I found out that they supplement the pasture raised chickens with a small amount of grain such as corn non GMO and heirloom soy which I’d rather they wouldn’t but if you buy in bulk they do have 100% pasture raised chicken from a Carolina supplier for you. Customers Service was on point.

The chicken drumsticks were large, chewy, and tasteless. They must have come from an old hen. It wasn't a good purchase.
