US Wellness Meats’ Free Range Chicken Necks are now available in a more convenient, 2.5 pound package. Chicken Necks are perfect for making soups and pets love them too. The current inventory of chicken necks may or may not contain skin. US Wellness Meats’ free range chickens are raised on pasture with a salad bar of grasses, legumes, and insects. The limited amount of grain these free range chickens consume is Non-GMO. They are raised without antibiotics or added hormones*. *Federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones in poultry. Once you experience the flavor of US Wellness Meats’ outdoor birds, you will never want to eat commercial birds again! Each package averages 2.5 pounds (approximately 8-10 necks) All US Wellness Poultry are pasture-raised, non-gmo, antibiotic and no added hormones.

My dog are on a raw food diet, but I dehydrate the necks for them for a nice crunchy treat that is healthy. I know there are no added chemicals and I don't have to trust some factory.

I use these for bone broth. They work fine. I had to romove a lot of fat though. I wish I could get chicken heads as well.

wish it comes in smaller package I can't use all the package at once and it is hard to divide it to 2 due to its being frozen.

I buy these for my cat. She gets half a raw neck every morning. I've been buying these for several years; last year there was a point where several packages contained mostly skin and only a trace of neck. Several other reviewers commented on the same problem. But it has not happened since, so hopefully the excellent quality will continue. Dispensing tip: I thaw the package, chop the necks in half, and freeze them on a tray, then put the frozen pieces in a freezer container (keeps them from sticking together). I take one out every evening to thaw in the refrigerator for the next morning.
