We are thrilled to offer Pasture Raised Ground Turkey again! The ground turkey is sourced from broad-breasted white birds. The birds are pasture raised without the use of antibiotics. These turkeys enjoy a diet of non-GMO corn and non-GMO soybeans. They are never given any added hormones or drug treatments.
The dark meat Ground Turkey makes a nice, light change for meatloaves, meatballs, tacos, and burgers. Besides swapping out for ground beef, it is excellent in any recipe that calls for ground chicken or ground turkey.

A world of difference from the ground turkey I'm used to eating in a good way. I'm questioning why other brands have so much water in the pan when cooking. This was tender and was pure meat.

I'm very sensitive to salicylates, and even the ground "organic" turkey in the supermarkets is full of rosemary, which I can't tolerate at all. This turkey is the ONLY one I can eat or use, and it's the best out there in terms of quality and taste. (I have alpha gal and therefore can't eat any mammal meat, and don't do very well on chicken, so this is literally a lifesaver for me and SO convenient.) I barely "thaw" it for a few hours in the refrig., then cut it into pieces which I freeze separately, and I can use one portion at a time.
