I think last year you changed how it was cooked (when you changed from the black-backed plastic packs to the clear-backed plastic packs). Also, this current shredded beef dioesn't smell as "beefy" to me, either. It smells more like deviled ham. The stuff in the black-backed packs was better tasting to me. I suspect you changed how it was prepared. It's still okay, and I will keep on buying it, but the earlier stuff was better.
