After more than 7 months of going back and forth with Octopus Energy — who repeatedly refused to approve a floor-mounted battery setup and couldn’t find a workable solution for my situation — I finally found Grayson Installations, and what a difference.
From the very first conversation with Bobby and Connor, it was clear these guys actually listen. I explained what I needed: an upgrade to my Tesla Solar battery system with additional Powerwall 3 expansion packs, configured as a full floor-mounted installation rather than the standard wall-hung setup. Not a common configuration by any means — but without hesitation, they got it. No pushback, no months of deliberation. Just a clear plan, brilliant communication, and within days of ordering, the job was done.
The installation completed today and I couldn’t be happier. My home now has 50kWh of battery storage, which means I’m fully protected from peak energy rates. On good sunny days, I’ll actually be selling energy back to the grid and turning a profit. The system looks clean, professional, and has been set up to a really high standard.
This is exactly the kind of expertise and can-do attitude that’s so hard to find. Grayson Installations delivered what a major energy supplier spent over half a year failing to agree to — and they did it in a matter of days.
I’m already planning to expand my solar panel setup, and there’s absolutely no question about who will be doing that work. Highly recommended.

Grayson installations were fantastic from start to finish and beyond. Connor was very easy to deal with. He listened to our requirements, put together a great system which was exactly what we wanted and within budget too. Connor and the team were all professional, knowledgeable, courteous and polite at all times. They arrived when they said they would and work was completed to a very high standard with everything looking very neat and tidy. Last minute additions from my side for an EV charger and extra solar panels did not phase them and everything proceeded without any trouble at all. The team in the office were always quick to respond to questions and queries too and all the relevant accreditation paperwork was provided in good time once the install was complete. Grayson Installations were the most knowledgeable solar installation team in the area. I have spoken to many Solar panel installation companies, but nobody had the level of knowledge as Connor from Grayson Installation. Connor explains very well that a 6-year-old child can understand. I would highly recommend Connor and his team, and we will use them again without any hesitation.

Grayson Installations are the most efficient company I have ever had work for me. Connor’s knowledge is second to none. He explained everything calmly. Having engaged with several Solar Installation company’s and been let down on several occasions over a period of 8 mouths I was just about to give up on the solar industries when I found the Grayson website, as they were fairly local I decided to give them a call and arrange a home visit. The visit was arranged within a couple of days and Connor came and did the survey, I was really impressed with his technical knowledge and his ability to explain complex things in language I could understand. Over the next couple of days, I received a full and concise proposal and having agreed to the terms an installation date was arranged for the following week, the scaffolders turned up a couple of days before and did a great job, Connors team arrived nice and early on the installation day and had the whole thing installed (10 Solar Panels Battery and all the electrics) and complete by 8pm in one day, very impressive. The team were very friendly, professional and completely tidied up when they had finished. I would highly recommend Connor and the team and will certainly be using them again without hesitation.

Had solar panels installed and car charging point, received excellent customer service, job completed in one day and they even assisted with another electrical problem we had. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Needed help as my lights were not working, this was my dilemma. Contacted Grayson Installations via FB. Connor came out that evening, polite, professional and courteous. Took his time to locate and find the fault, which wasnt were I thought it was. He knew what he was doing. Definitely recommend to anyone seeking electrical work to be done.

Grayson Installations provided in-depth and professional works for my commercial Caravan Park & Leisure venue. A full site survey was carried out and recommendations made for work needed along with a very competitive quote. All work was completed in a timely manner and extremely neat and organised. Completion certificates issued as required for my insurance companies.

Very good electrician, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced as well! Will happily use again! Rewired our kitchen on such short notice.
