5 stars isn’t enough. From start to finish, the entire process was effortless. Graham was incredibly helpful in colour matching the walls to the bed I had already bought, and it genuinely couldn’t look any better. Jordan, who painted the room, was clean, tidy, and his decorating is next level. The whole experience was faultless from start to finish - can’t recommend them enough.

Graham and his team decorated our hallway, kitchen and lounge/dining room, they did an excellent job in all areas, very clean and tidy, was impressed with all the protection & prep beforehand. We couldn’t be happier with the work carried out by G.R.D Decorators in East Sussex. From our first enquiry through to the final inspection, Graham, Tommy and Jamie demonstrated professionalism, skill and genuine pride in their work while repainting and wallpapering our entire newly purchased home in Brighton.

They began with a thorough site assessment and provided a clear, written quote and timeline. Before any painting or papering started they prepared the spaces meticulously — moving and protecting furniture, filling and sanding imperfections, priming where needed, and ensuring surfaces were flawless. Their attention to prep work really showed in the finished result: crisp, straight wallpaper seams, perfectly matched patterns, and clean, razor-sharp paint edges around skirting boards, windows and doors.

Graham was excellent at managing the whole process and communicating progress; Jamie’s eye for colour and finishing touches made a real difference to the final look. All three were punctual, courteous and respectful of our family and property. They communicated clearly about progress and any small decisions that needed our input, and offered helpful suggestions on colour choices and finishes that enhanced the natural light and character of each room.

They handled both delicate features and modern spaces with equal care. Any external work we asked for was completed to the same high standard — neat preparation, even coverage and long-lasting results. Throughout the project the team kept the house tidy at the end of each day and did a thorough clean-up on completion, leaving the place ready to enjoy.

The project was completed on schedule, the final cost matched the original estimate, and the quality of workmanship was outstanding. Graham, Tommy and Jamie were an absolute pleasure to work with — professional, friendly and attentive from start to finish.
