Delicious food all weekend and pleasant staff with patience of a saint. Food all cooked fresh to order. Delicious mouth watering burgers. Any event organisers will be lucky to have this team on their site.

I haven't used this company, but can't seem to delete the review (there is a company of the same name in East Anglia), so I've edited it. Apologies to this company and thank you for your understanding response.

I asked GBEC to manage my 40th birthday party with 70+ guests after meeting Tom and finding his enthusiasm infectious, and I am so glad I did.

Tom helped me work on my early ideas for the party to get a consistent theme, gave me a carefully curated menu of some great ideas of his own, and was responsive to even the most demanding and specific requests, taking a huge amount of stress out of the planning process and enabling me to realise my ambition for a perfect party. The suppliers he worked with were all absolutely top notch, from the party tents and garden games to the delightful bar staff and the exceptional caterers.

On the day, Tom himself was hyper-attentive, whether gently corralling the guests for the different events through the day, or just watching over and anticipating needs before they arose. Many guests commented on the organisational magic he performed that day.

Thank you Tom and GBEC for a perfect party, I’m ALMOST looking forward to my 50th!

Tom was sensational at planning my 30th birthday of dreams! He was super attentive, prompt at communicating and thought of all the tiny details and finishing touches to ensure that the night ran smoothly. All of the Great British Events team were super friendly, enthusiastic and I will definitely be recommending them to all of my friends and family organising future celebrations. Thanks Tom and team!

Great British Events supported us in preparing the most spectacular of themed work party events - a 1920s themed party in Reading for c. 400 people.
Tom sourced fantastic decorations, working closely with the venue and pulled together an outstanding entertainment schedule for the night including a live casino, multiple dance troupes, multiple music acts, and more.
Throughout the build up to the event, Tom was great at keeping in touch with our organising committee, and open to discussions on ideas throughout. In particular we appreciated how Tom kept in mind our budget manage to exceed our expectations without exceeding the budget!!
On the night Tom worked exceptionally hard to ensure everything ran smoothly, including being on site 24 hours early to coordinate the preparation. Everything went off without a hitch.

Overall we were thrilled with the work done by Great British Events and we would definitely use them again for future events.

I have one word for Tom, his team, his vision, his organisation, thoughtfulness, and care - UNREAL.
I set Tom a challenge on a shoestring budget for 500+ attendees and he pulled off the most incredible event (after other events companies would not even consider it).
Tom's diligence, oversight on the night and ability communicate so effectively that every single piece fell into place from security to the acts to me is extraordinary.
I have been hosting events at my company for 17 years and have been told that this year was the BEST. We cannot thank Tom enough for turning a blank space into an immersive, fun, and fantastic party.
Tom’s chef Stewart created a feast that had many returning for seconds (or thirds), we had a bar to beat all bars, thrilling entertainment and waiters on hand making sure we were topped up all night.
Buttons the singer had the dance floored filled singing classics and the arial artist and drummers added a true wow factor.
It was seamless and fun and having Tom attend and assist meant for the first time in a long time I could enjoy the party rather than run around all night.
I cannot recommend The Great British Events Co. enough, if you are looking for someone to take your ideas and make them happen and add some extra flair, Tom is your man.

Tom and the Great British Events Company came to my rescue setting up two parties two weeks apart this summer - my son's 21st and our house-leaving party. I had been let down by another company and so suddenly had little time. Tom and GBEC were absolutely brilliant from the get go. From designing an invitation (not part of their original remit), sorting out the best marquee, music, food & drink, entertainment, photographer and anything else I needed in a short space of time. The result was two fabulous, very successful parties.
Tom is absolutely lovely to work with - organised, efficient but also unflappable and always smiling and ready to help with whatever I asked his help with. He has great initiative along with all his experience and excellent contacts in the business. Importantly we always worked in a very collaborative way and he was very keen that I got exactly the party I wanted. Moreover, he wanted to know afterwards if there was anything that hadn't come up to scratch in case there was anything he could improve for future parties.
I couldn't recommend Tom and the Great British Events Company more highly if you're looking for help to create a brilliant and memorable party.

We booked Great British Events Company for an event for 250 attendees. Tom was great and very helpful. The company was able to accommodate last minute changes and guided us throughout the planning process. We trust their service and would 100% recommend their service for any small/medium/large events.

Tom was amazing at organising our little boys birthday. He was very attentive to detail and accommodating to changes we requested. Everything was executed really well and to the brief. The children had a great time and the party was a huge success.

We knew we needed some support to help with the planning and running of the day, but little did we know how much support we needed! Luckily, everyone at Great British Events Company was poised and ready, and they were able to sort things we didn't even know we needed sorting!!

Tom was our main contact in the build up to the wedding, and he ran the day for us. I have never seen someone work so hard!!

Everyone else we spoke to was absolutely fantastic, just so helpful but also seemed genuinely excited for us and therefore so invested in our day being a success!

We enlisted Great British Events to plan our wedding reception and had a great experience. Tom understood the brief immediately and came back with several options that perfectly matched what we wanted. He made time to meet with us and tour the venue, as well as asking all the right questions about the day and the little details that we did not think of due to lack of experience. Tom's tagline is "No event too big, and no event too small", and this was exactly our experience! We hired him to help shop for, set up, run, and clear up a small family celebration in our back garden. We just didn't want the hassle, and Tom was excellent at sorting everything out while being nearly "invisible". It also was good value as his services came at not a huge premium over the cost of doing it all ourselves. We were really happy, and we wish him good luck as he grows his business!

If you are planning an event, I would definitely recommend the Great British Events Company. From the get go, Tom understood the theme I was looking for and executed it to perfection. He was always professional and my venue looked totally authentic. A job well done. Thank you Great British Events

Tom was so helpful throughout the whole process. Even when we had to reschedule and find a different location due to covid. He was with us every step of the way. He sorted it all, got our deposit back and secured a second venue. It was an amazing hen party weekend, the owners were lovely and the chef was well worth the money (chef, waiter and pot wash 😀)
I can't thank Tom enough for helping make it a truly special weekend. 😊
