Listening to Greatest Hits Radio is like the movie “Sliding Doors”. The same tracks and the same artists are played over and over again such as Rod Stewart, Meatloaf, Phil Collins, Madonna, George Mi... See more

Probably best channel to have on at work...
Probably the best radio channel to keep everyone happy at work. There's usually a few songs for everyone in the workforce.
Rossie, Ken Bruce, Simon Mayo and Jackie Brambles have plenty of little segments where you hear something a bit different each day and a bit of variety. Obviously, Popmaster is the best 15 minutes of the day.
Kate Thornton, however, is pretty awful. Plays the same kind of songs day in, day out. Never anything out of the ordinary like all the other DJs do. And she just waffles on incessantly. Constant monotonous chatter and always giggling like an idiot at things that simply are not funny.
Unfortunately, once Ken Bruce's show is over the radio now gets switched to a different channel each day until Simon Mayo is back on.
Greatest Hits Radio experience
I have the radio on in my office most of the day. I love listening to Rossie and Ken but I change channels when Kate Thornton comes on. I'm sorry but I don't think she is right for radio. Her voice annoys me. The chap that did the show before her was great. I don't know why they let him go. If not him I wish they would put Richard Allinson on instead. I always like listening to him. He's wasted on the 60's breakfast show and filling in for everyone.
Annoying going on about the phone in giveaway…
Constantly going on about that annoying phone-in giveaway stuff.
Every advert is either promoting gambling or we buy your gold. Gets very grating after a short time.
Shame on you! Delete this station off your radio!!
I listen to radio during work and can't believe this station can advised an organisation who are responsible for murder on the streets on the north of Ireland. The udr killed innocent people and the people of this radio station should be ashamed to have any connections with them. Shame on you!
Stuck in a loop
At first I thought I had left the radio on, then I realised my record player was playing on repeat, same songs over and over again. Switching to the radio, I then thought the record player was on repeat again, same songs over and over again, but no, it was the radio on GHR. They should realise that variety is the spice of life and there are thousands of songs in existence, not just the handful they seem to play endlessly.
It's a very difficult station to listen to, the adverts are repeated almost as frequently as the songs I'm advised I can go premium to get rid of them, but as all I have is a standard FM radio, that's a pointless exercise. The giggling female presenters are just as annoying. Sorry GHR, as Juke Box Jury's David Jacobs would say... eh uh it's a miss.
Change the record
The new 80s station is pure rubbish. Same records day and night. When you think the 80s was 10 years and they play the same ones over and over again.
And when the news comes on its mumble. Only good thing is no adds... for now. But I'm getting sick of weather girls and bonnie Tyler..
Dreadful more like greatest shits…
Dreadful more like greatest shits radio, same boring commercial crappy songs and too many ads!
2 to 4 is dire
Rossie, Ken & Simon are brilliant. The lady between them in the afternoon is dire with seemingly no thought going into the show. "Ring us up and tell us what you're doing" does NOT make a show!
Also how many times must we listen to "I think we're alone now"? Got any other tracks?
too many ads
If you like adverts and pointless talk then this is the station for you, or maybe you would like to win some money. Get on the phone and come Friday win half a million quid , you don't even need to remember a phrase just pick up the phone and the money is yours.
If music is your thing then don't waste your time because there is very little played on here. Unfortunately for me my wife finds this garbage tolerable.
Some and some...
So I listen to Greatest Hits for Ken mainly but have grown to quite like Rossie and I like Simon Mayo's album show. I can mentally switch off the ads and accept it's their revenue stream, hopefully with all their new listeners they can attract higher quality advertisers.
Sadly, I don't like Kate Thornton's new show, it's formulaic and she doesn't have the skill needed to make it seem less so. The guy she took over from was fab though, bring him back.
I am reviewing Greatest Hits Radio Dating which I believe is a scam.
I am reviewing Greatest Hits Radio Dating on here because that site does not appear on Trustpilot yet. I saw no reviews and proceeded to start a subscription. It has turned out to be like many other similar dating sites that are a scam. I am surprised that such a company advertises the dating site on the radio and also on their website. Warning! Do not spend your money. No replies and no dates are forthcoming. I have emailed to cancel my subscription as it does not deliver as a dating app. I would say this is false advertising.
Listening online is an ordeal
I was listening on the app which suddenly dropped out just before popmaster (the app is awful, glitches often) I tried quickly to get it on the lap top but I had to register - why? Why do you need to know ALL my personal info for me to listen to popmastrer? By the time it got to the second page of the form I gave up as I had missed what I wanted to listen to - app deleted as its poor, the rayo app is even worse.
The programming is great - shame its impossible to listen to.
Spoiling sporting results with no notice to the listeners
i like the radio station and like others i go to work all day and record things to watch when i het home, for them to just blurt out the results of a sporting event such as the Grand Prix results without any mention of a heads up to anyone listening is terrible and just spoils the event for people.
please give people a heads up prior to any results for any sports
Too many ads spoil the show
Too many ads spoil the show. Like classic fm.
Used to be good
Used to be good. Far too many adverts now. And Simon Mayo's true stories. Why do we have to have annoying music and din playing in the background? I switch off now. The same with other radio stations on news and weather. Thump, thump thump noise throughout. Radio 2 the worst. Supermarkets plague us with loud disco music.
Omg even the hour before Ken they play…
Omg even the hour before Ken they play the same bands in the guess the year seriously play songs from another bands there is more than Madonna queen elo abba prince and Bowie I used to love Madonna in the 80s but can’t stand her music now due to greatest hits overkill
Why!?
I really enjoy this station, but Martin keep! You have made your money! You had an amazing career! Why are you on the radio taking away future prospects from the younger generation. You do not need this!
Those bloody adverts!
Only average. I like the presenters, music is okaaaay.
But the bloody adverts. That awful squawking woman that started doing the Wilson’s Bloody Carpets advert is now EVERYWHERE like creeping fungus. Then there’s that TEXT GOWD advert where some lithping bloke is encouraging you to turn your twinkets into tweasure. Oh just SOD OFF.
Useless technology
The radio will no longer play, sometimes, on my laptop. I am using the same login details sine I first started listening. I can listen if I go to another site but this doesn't enable me to get the local station. Absolutely useless with technology.
