Great Little Breaks. Skipton Hotel

Great Little Breaks rep on the phone was very helpful when having difficulty booking.
Hotel was great. Good position although just outside Skipton. Bus stop right outside. Beautiful views and minutes to countryside. Ideal for walkers or non walkers.
Fabulous breakfast and evening meal good. Room clean and serviced even on two nights stay. All staff very efficient, friendly and helpful.

Excellent value in good hotels.

Excellent value in good hotels with sensible included meals. Have booked many Great Little Breaks and never been disappointed. This one in Salisbury was no exception - nice hotel on the river overlooking the cathedral and only 10 minute walk to the city centre. Also impressed with customer service. Would definitely recommend.

The organisation is very good

The organisation is very good, bookings and tickets all went smoothly, ‘all as it said on the tin’.
The hotel was fine, room was good, bathroom needed a bit of tlc.

New Year Break

Nice hotel, good room, nice food.

However, some of what was promised when we booked the hotel through you, was not provided. We paid you for Lunch on 30/12/25. But this was not provided. Free bubbly at midnight on 31/12/25 was paid for, but not provided.
Maintenance was poor. The primary light source in our room (standard lamp) was not working. We reported it immediately requesting a replacement light bulb. By the time we left on day three, still no action had been taken.

For this package, a three course dinner was included on the 30th, but lunch wasn’t part of the offer. I really hope the hotel were able to help with this for you in the evening.

The package also included drinks and canapés on New Year’s Eve. While this didn’t specify midnight service, we do hope you were still able to enjoy your drink and canapé on the night.

We’re also very sorry to hear about the maintenance issue that wasn’t resolved — this is absolutely not the experience we want for our guests. We’ve already shared your comments with the hotel team so they can look into what went wrong and take steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Booked the Blenheim Palace Christmas…

Booked the Blenheim Palace Christmas lights break with 2 nights at the Villiers hotel Buckingham with minced pie and mulled wine on arrival and a three course Christmas dinner on the first night as we had done this package 3 years ago and it was a great break. On arrival this time there was no minced pie or mulled wine, we were told we had a £30 allowance for our evening meal which was not even enough for a 2 course meal. Our hotel room was above the arched entrance to the hotel courtyard parking and at 6 o'clock on the 1st morning we were awoken by a delivery using metal wheeled cages going over the cobbled type surface. The food was good. Left the feedback with Great Little Breaks but had no reply explanation.
