An excellent tour which includes all the iconic sites of these cities. I like the fact that there are organised excursions but there is also a reasonable amount of free time included for further sightseeing. Roger, our tour manager, was absolutely excellent when dealing with any challenges that arose. All in all a very enjoyable holiday despite having to walk around in high temperatures!
It is a great way to see some iconic sights in Spain. The trip is a nice blend of free time and organised activities. Be prepared for a lot of walking as there is a lot to see on foot. The logistics of the travel are complex but with a good tour manager they can be successfully navigated.
Faultless organisation and excellently delivered. The Tour Manager worked tirelessly to ensure all on the tour and their interests were catered for. Much pleased with the holiday.
The journey and the whole experience lived up to our expectations. For the most part the hotels were very good and our only issue was with some of the guides who wished to impart as much as possible that it soon became overload. But the architecture and the amazing views and the general atmosphere more than compensated for these niggles.

It was a very enjoyable tour with an exceptional Tour Leader. Overall the tour was very strenuous with a lot of walking in extreme temperatures but it was worth it for the sights we saw. Many had to resort to taxis. The Granada hotel was little disappointing and basic compared with the others. The included dinner locations were excellent. Most of the people on the trip agreed that an extra full day in Bierritz would have been welcomed as we got there in the late evening and left first thing next morning. The quality of the destinations was undoubted. The early starts were sometimes exhausting but all hotels were good. Overall enjoyable but a little bit too rushed at times. Our tour manager Philip was excellent and looked after us all very well.

Well organised with pick up coaches arriving on time, luggage handled efficiently excellent hotels and restaurants chosen. Tour guides were informative with an excellent Tour Manager.

Well planned and throughly enjoyable.
Wonderful holiday well planned with Excellent tour manager. The guides gave us a wonderful incite to the culture and history of these cities. Hotels were great and our companions were a lovely bunch.

VERY INTERESTING TOUR. WE HAD BEEN TO SPAIN MANY TIMES TO PLAY GOLF BUT HAD ALWAYS WANTED TO VISIT SOME OF THE MAJOR CITIES. EXCELLENT TOUR MANAGER AND A VERY PLEASEANT GROUP OF FELLOW TRAVELLERS. WOULD ALWAYS RECOMMEND THIS TOUR. WE DID A SIMILAR TOUR IN ITALY LAST YEAR WHICH WAS EQUALLY GOOD.
The holiday went well with good travel, hotels, meals and tours. However my room in the hotel in Seville was too small What was not so good was the luggage delivery service by road as cases sometimes arrived late; suggest you ditch this. Also, the tour manager did not speak Spanish which was a disadvantage. This was an extremely expensive holiday and it did not seem better than previous cheaper ones that I went on with your company.
An interesting tour of five historic cities interlinked by super rail journeys. Excellent knowledgeable guides, good food, and a great tour manager to keep things moving.
Great Holiday but very full on . A lot of great expirences and places visited not a lot of down time very active but very fulfilling. Great tour manager Glad we went .
Excellent holiday, though an extra night in some of the cities (Seville/ Barcelona) might have made it less tiring. Great hotels & dinners.
A wonderful sightseeing tour with a good tour manager. We met a great bunch of people & our tour guides were very good particularly in Cordoba! Our guide brought some of us to emotional tears in the Mesquiza -Superb. Criticisms are that the holiday was rushed ie maybe a 12 -14 day tour packed into 11 days which was to it's detriment. Consequently there were 'buy snacks for tomorrow ' days as not sure if food will be available on the next train etc & some organised tours straight out upon arrival in the hottest part of the day. The only other issues were that as the tour went on, the hotel facilities were maybe not quite as '4 star' as they could have been. No tea/coffee making facilities in Cordoba & Barcelona hotels, or hotel restaurants. Their bathrooms also required a refresh! Pre-cooked brought in food only was available at Hotel Catalonia in Barcelona, despite it's sister hotel in Madrid serving wonderful freshly prepared & cooked evening meals. Overall though a wonderful holiday & experience that I am so pleased I went on.
