A very pleasant relaxing trip. A shame we had to pay for an upgrade at the hotel to get a sea view.

This was a well organised holiday. There was a good balance between free time and organised trips. We had an excellent tour manager. The journey from UK to Spain was rather long as expected.
A very successful holiday with an excellent tour manager. Roses was a great area for exploring and the hotel and staff were very friendly and helpful. The only drawback from my point of view was the evening meal which was very mixed but the breakfast was excellent from the point of view Of choice. A lovely holiday!!

Best day was going into Girona (not a planned trip -went on a free day.) Wouldn’t recommend little red train -nothing at destination -nothing open but one crowded pub. Barcelona -please let folk know they need to book the Cathedral interior at the same time as they book the tour, and give them times that it’s suitable to book, to fit in with day’s plans. We did have an amazing guide in Barcelona -Christof -took us into little out if the way places -really knows and loves the city.

Met all expectations
Excellent holiday. Great guide, plenty of interesting excursions plus the right amount of free time. lovely hotel. although it was situated a little to far from the centre of Roses for a comfortable stroll into town.
This holiday is excellent value for money, offering Eurostar Plus to Paris and 1st class rail thereafter. The hotel was of extremely smart, located opposite a scenic beach, with very friendly staff and generous size rooms. We thought it was worth booking a sea view room. The biggest downside was the fact that the local bus to Roses doesn’t start operating till June, though the coastal path walk only takes 40 minutes. The range of excursions was good though personally, we found the Dali Museum, and Figueres unimpressive, and we took the Little Red Train on a day when nothing was open in Axat. But overall the range of excursions was varied and good. Our tour manager was also excellent.
Did what it said on the programme, but the experience local to the fixed hotel outside Roses was somewhat limited.
Excellent travel arrangements: very good hotel, with very good food. We felt the programme could have been better arranged, but our tour manager added a trip to Girona which was for us the highlight of the week.
