Pleasant trip , wouldn’t say memorable, disappointing excursions, way overpriced for what actually included, tiny but comfortable cabins , good food on board.

Lovely week cruising the Rhone a Sète canal. Beautiful scenery, lovely towns and wonderful wildlife. We learned so much about the culture of the Camargue. Anne Marie a comfortable (if compact!) home with a great crew and the best A/C on the planet!
Really good trip - the crew were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was well prepared and presented. Great scenery and interesting outings.
Lovely week sailing along the canal from Sete to Arles. Relaxing days with several interesting tours to introduce us to the Camargue region. Crew on board were delightful and added fun and good food to the trip - service was top-notch.
Excellent trip and the weather was beautifully arranged too. The barge crew were always ready with a smile and service.
Barge fine, quite long journey to get there, Eurostar comfortable, train to south of France bit cramped.
An excellent trip through the camarque in Anne Marie. Awesome food and wine with an awesome crew. Every excursion was worthwhile. Would thoroughly recommend this trip

The service, food and facilities on the dutch barge with CroisiEurope were all superb.We thoroughly enjoyed a very sociable small group holiday, all older agegroup. Just too short. The large case transport in advance was also much appreciated. The disappointment was that the local guides were, although knowledgeable, very difficult to understand largely due to loud aircon on coaches and poor microphone technique. We travelled from London by train, unfortunately having to cross Paris in a tediously slow coach when there might be an alternative rout via Lille.
A great holiday on the Anne-Marie in Provence A great holiday on the Anne-Marie on the Seté Canal. Purser Sairah and the Crew of the CroisiEurope barge could not do enough for the guests and made the Holiday memorable. Great Rail Journeys head office attention and information made travelling easy, and the independent included luggage transport service made travel by rail a pleasure. A great holiday except for an avoidable stressful transfer between Stations in Paris on the return which rather took the shine of a great experience partially rescued by the Lunch that was served in Eurostar Plus on the last leg to St Pancras.
A wonderful week. They could't do enough to make you feel at home. Food and drink was all I could have wanted, well served as the barge passed through marvellous countryside. Lots of trips out for guided tours and visits ranging from oysters to olives, black bulls to flamingos, salt mountains to wine tasting. All the crew were welcoming and friendly. I felt l was treated as a special friend. Occasional mosquito, but it was the Camargues.
Lack of adequate communication before we went. Courier failed to pick up our bag on the specified day. Broken lock on our cabin meant we were unable to enter our cabin from mid morning to late evening. Had to wait over an hour at Gare de Lyon and so had to run for the Eurostar at Gare du Nord. Two of our fellow passengers did not make it! Returned questionnaire to GRJ but are still awaiting a response.

As usual a great trip. Fantastic staff and food. Too much walking in the 30+% and not enough sailing. Sadly the air conditioning did not work in our cabin but the lovely staff tried their best with a fan and a little portable unit.
