We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Snowy Norway was extremely beautiful, people friendly and food excellent. The Sami experience and Ice hotel were fascinating and Swedish husky ride exhilarating… lovely experiences. Due to bad weather conditions part of our itinerary had to change but the company and tour guide did everything to ensure the best outcome possible.

Some amazing scenery along the way. We went on the last trip of the winter (end of March) so there wasn't as much snow as earlier but not as cold either.
Brilliant from the start to the end
An absolutely amazing experience. Well managed, great scenery, good food & excellent company.

Very well organised tour with an experienced tour guide. Due to high winds the ferry to the lofoten islands wasn’t running and so our 2 days we were supposed to spend there was split between staying in Bodo and Narvik an extra day at both which wasn’t ideal although the tour guide organised alternative trips in both of those days.
It was a lovely experience and very well organised. Just slightly too much coach travel for our liking.
The activities and the overall experience was excellent, the only issue was the size of the group, with an extra 16 people added to the original group from the UK did make some of the walking tours a little stretched and cumbersome. The Tour manager handled the situations well, but it was sometimes difficult to hear or see what was being said by the local tour guides on a few occasions.
Brilliant
Well organised trip, our tour rep, Tim, was the best. Northern lights, reindeer and dog sledge were the highlights. Great crowd of people on the coach, made new friends. Would highly recommend this tour.
Norway and Sweden were great, sometimes the organisation was not so good. and the single supplement made this holiday poor value.
A well organised trip with a great Tour Manager Everything ran smoothly and the included excursions were very good
Excellent tour, very well organised, first rate tour manager, Demi: absolutely nothing phased her and she was always cheerful. Its a lot of travelling, but then you see a lot. Hotels good especially the Richard With in Stokmarknes and Camp Ripan. Husky sledding and seeing the northern lights were highlights.
My friend and I took this trip March this year. We had a good holiday and were lucky enough to see The Northern Lights 4 times. All the excursions were as advertised, the dog sledding was a highlight ( being a dog lover ) ! Ice hotel and Sami Experience were both good. Our Tour Manager did a great job in sometimes tricky circumstances. Travelling with a large group is something neither of us have done before but again it was a positive experience. All the hotels with the exception of one were all lovely, staff and food all good. As vegetarians we were well catered for apart from the one hotel. GRJ were made aware of the issue with that particular hotel by myself and the tour manager and GRJ have already been in touch with me, regarding the issues experienced. All in all a good trip the only thing I would add is that it was probably more travelling than either of us expected, but we did not check the distances so that would s down to us.
An amazing experience with scenic views of frozen lakes and fjords, very good accommodation, excellent breakfasts and a wonderful husky ride on the last day.
The first few days were very badly organised; too much time spent travelling with very little time in the stopovers. The hotels were often located too far from the town centres to enable excursions in the ‘free time’. The room in one hotel was too small for two suitcases and its bathroom was even worse - you stood in the shower (which had no soap) to use the washbasin. The local guides were very good and what we did see of the Norwegian towns was very interesting. The latter part of the holiday, in Lapland, was fascinating with fabulous days spent with the Sami people, the reindeer and the huskies.
Fantastic holiday from beginning to end. Carol the tour manager was proficient in her role, knowledgeable and approachable. Only one issue, the hotel in Narvik was not up to the standard of the other hotels used.

Beautiful scenery, in particular the Lofoten Islands, and Camp Ripan was wonderful but there was just too much travelling. The journey times and how many days spent travelling should be made clearer in the trip description.

For a great rail journey we spent a considerable amount of time on a coach. Some of our destinations had little of interest resulting in spare afternoons with nothing today. We had an excellent tour manager who did his best. Not getting dinner at our last venue for the second to last night meant either going into town with little in the way of restaurants or dining at some expense at the hotel.
Norway and Sweden are beautiful countries and the people very friendly. An amazing experience.
