So uneccessary !
It is with great regret that I am compelled to write a negative review for this company.
My initial dealings with them were a little shaky but to be fair they eventually solved and repaired the problem with my car.
They also waived all charges for some unsuccessful work that was carried out.
The car was repaired, I was happy and we parted on good terms.
A short time later I asked them to quote for some additional repairs and an MOT & service.
I didn't receive a reply !
To cut a long story short, I phoned them approximately six or seven times over the next two weeks.
Every time that I spoke with the receptionist I was told that Gaz (the owner) was either on holiday, currently working on a vehicle, had been very busy, etc, etc, etc.
I was repeatedly promised a call back ..... It never happened !
On the last occasion, the receptionist apologised and promised that she or Gaz would phone me back before the end of the day.
GUESS WHAT. NO CALL BACK❗
More than once I'd asked them whether they actually wanted the work.
I was assured that they did and always promised a call back.
It is patently obvious that Gaz, for some reason, didn't fancy doing this job.
IF THAT'S THE CASE, WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST SAY SO❓
From my point of view, I am forced to conclude that their behaviour has been impolite, inconsiderate and cowardly.
Promises were broken and requests were ignored.
To summarise, they were sloppy and unprofessional.
If Gaz were to call me with a plausible explanation then I would happily retract my critisisms and offer an apology.
BUT I DON'T EXPECT TO RECEIVE THAT CALL❗
Great Yarmouth Garage Services have let themselves down and have lost a customer.
IT WAS ALL SO UNNECESSARY ❗
