By installing this box in your garden or outdoor space, you're helping to protect native bird populations. The box provides a safe environment for larger birds to nest away from predators and the elements. For best results, install the wooden owl box at quite a height (at least 3 metres above ground), on a mature tree with good visibility.

It is a solid built owl box benefiting from quality materials and delivery was on schedule. Only suggestion: might have been nice to have suggestions on where to place the box and thoughts on what contents might or not attract an owl….. we are new to this.

By comparison to our boxes, undoubtedly good quality,well made and very durable. Our boxes are marine or thick ply, and are larger (2’ 6”) with 12” access, the owls sit on the perch in full height and are able to “move up and down” an interesting characteristic.
