Haven't A Clue Review
The CockInn Rochford is a fabulous pub & all Staff, especially Liz & Sue are really lovely. We regularly attend Steve's Quiz night in aid of Macmillan & it is a lot of fun & we learn some interesting facts although, with reference to our name, Haven't A Clue, we don't usually do too well!
We won an Easter Hamper this week, so have been very lucky.
Only given 1 as it wont let me put 0
Only given 1 as it wont let me put 0. Worst company ever. Awful to work for and be a customer. Cant get my legally mandated uninterrupted break as we now have to work on our own and you go for your break and have to come immediately back to microwave the food. Never seen such a poorly ran company ever. Last time I closed the kitchen cos of being understaffed joe Golding and the fat toad from Cheshire oaks threatened my job

Dog friendly and good quality food and served with a smile
We were visiting Newmarket this evening and had our little dog with us so looking for a dog friendly place and stumbled across The Bull Pub, on the High Street.
Initially we sat outside in the beer garden but it was getting chilly so we asked the bar staff Charlotte if it would be ok to bring our little dog inside and she said that would be no problem whatsoever, she explained her menus and recommended the Tuesday deal of any burgers for the price of one and she took our order and directed us to a table.
In a short while our burgers arrived with all the trimmings and we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste, piping hot and served with a smile. Jamie the manager could not of done more for us, and Charlotte ensured our dog had adequate water so everyone's needs were catered for, Ryan was our chef and the burgers were excellent and order came exactly as we requested one well done with crispy bacon, fries and extra portion of onion rings. The other with sweet potato fries was excellent too! Would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to returning again soon. Price was also very good value for money thanks all

Malt shovel, Baildon
My husband and I went to The Malt Shovel in Baildon for lunch.
We both chose turkey, which was moist and cooked to perfection, we also both got a side order of pigs in blankets.
The food was amazing and at £9.00 a head its fantastic value.
The pub has recently got a new manager, who has breathed fresh air i to the building.
Its warm and welcoming. Friendly and smiling bar staff, the whole place was buzzing, a far cry from what it used to be
It can only go up, which it will, with the current manager and staff.
10/10 from us
Discount withdrawn
So disappointed today. Went to the Horse and Groom at Moor Green yesterday. Had our meals like normal only to be told I can't use my Blue light card today because its Easter weekend. It's not the pubs fault so hence why I'm putting it on here. The thing is there was no warning nothing on your website saying it was withdrawn and I wasn't the only person there expecting to be able to use it.

Ripped opp by Green King
We went as a family of 8 to the Oystercatcher in Penarth yesterday.
We ordered on the app.
The food was fine except the apple crumble, which you needed a magnifying glass to find.
On getting home I looked at the receipt and found that we had not had the kids eat for £1 offer or even the kids meal deal. I queried this with Green King and was told that you dont get these if you order on the app.
We have gone here for many family celebrations, but think this will be the last time as they are conning people with the offers they advertised and don't give.
It is people with children who are more likely to use the app rather than taking children to the till and they are the ones who are penalised.
Harvey West Swindon
Harvey West Swindon, friendly staff, great food and enjoyable atmosphere. Thank you, we will be back soon
Worst pub chain in the UK
Atrocious customer service, from Head Office down to your local.
My local GK pub - the Station in Uckfield is the worst run pub I have ever been to, just in the last month I've had money incorrectly taken from my card and not refunded, both the ladies and gents toilets have been out of action for a week.
Furthermore, one of the draughts has only sporadically been on and on a couple of occasions multiple lines have been down. The kitchen is rarely open, but the food is terrible so that is probably a positive.
The pub used to a part of the local Pub Watch, which at least made it mostly safe from worst patrons, but the current manager couldn't be bothered renewing it and now all of the worst locals have found it and are openly dealing in the pub - despite this being pointed out on camera to the pub manager. No wonder all the great, attentive staff have left - it starts at the top.
It's not a fun experience; it takes ages to get served even when the pub is empty and recently it just doesn't feel safe anymore. The Police attend more frequently but aside from being a huge red flag to patrons, it has changed nothing - the dealers move briefly to the car park, then return.
I've sent a complaint to Guest Services about the refund, as requested by the bored and uninterested pub manager who watches the mayhem unfold in his pub like a smiling, moronic cabbage after a lobotomy.
Needless to say, a month later, I have had no refund and no reply from anyone.
Easily the worst pub chain in the UK. Avoid.
Went to winter steam hambrook
Went to winter steam hambrook , one person serving , no o e eating ordered a meal and then my mrs ordered the drinks in the app , 20 minutes later and still no drink, are these people really that lazy or what .
Winter Green
16.20 for 1 glass of prosecco, 1 pint of fruit cider and a glass of tap water - which we realised when checking prices after purchase we must have been charged for! - insane prices at Waverly Winter Green. Genuinely couldnt believe it.

Ye Olde Starre Inne
Ye Olde Starre Inne. This is a real ‘olde’ genuine pub, serving a superb lunch. We entertained an elderly relative there today and we totally looked after by the two staff. The steak and ale pies, olde starre burger and, chocolate and caramel torte were really delicious.
I recently went to Quays pub restaurant…
I recently went to Quays pub restaurant for a carvery meal in Northampton. I am autistic and slightly dyslexic and don’t see signage especially if I have been going there for years when I pop over from Peterborough to visit my uncle.
I was unaware that the car had to be registered within the premises to avoid picking up a parking fine.
Neither the person behind the counter or the waitress mentioned this to me.
So when a PF arrived in the post I was caught totally unaware.
I contacted GK who looked into the case and then had it cancelled.
So I would like to thank GK for their support.

Greedy green king
As a regular several times a week to our local pub which is a chef and brewer owned by green king greedy brewery. Having changed drinks due to ridiculous price hikes for a less than suburban area. We then find out this evening that special occasions like Mother’s Day, Easter, Christmas and new year are no longer eligible for friends and family 15% discounts. Seriously you greedy short sighted idiots. As locals we are what keeps your pubs afloat in times of crisis or floods or general slumps. Get your buzz word not a clue spread sheet heads out of your backsides and learn how to organise a pee up in a brewery. Seriously with everything price wise going through the roof you think it’s a good idea to hit us with another hike. Friends and family is an incentive to drink and eat in your pubs. We were going to go this year on New Year’s Eve. Now we aren’t. We won’t be alone in this decision so well done for banging another nail in the coffin of your own business you total clueless idiots.
