I have ordered a solar panel with battery, the process was flawless, from the quote till the installation. The installation team was very professional, they searched for the optimal solution for wiring and did a really nice job. After the installation Lynne called me and made sure that everything is performed as it should. I can fully recommend the company.

The installation team were good and answered any question as well as explaining the installation. They kept the work areas clean.

Boys did great job installing PV Solar panels and ecoflow battery with inverter. They were respectful of the property and did the job very professionally.

During the Xmas/New Year holiday period when it was bitterly cold our air source heat pump was badly damaged by a fire caused by a fault in the electrical supply to the house Greener Energy had someone visit the house making sure everything was safe within an hour which is impressive considering we live quite remotely in Argyll. Very impressive customer care.

Quick and tidy install by skilled and very professional tradesman

Declan recently serviced my boiler, and his professionalism and courteous manner left a great impression. I've decided to schedule a yearly service as a result. Additionally, Craig came by to address some plumbing concerns, and he was equally courteous and professional. Both gentlemen were incredibly helpful.

Heat pump installed in 3 days. Excellent support from the office (Debbie and Lynne) including help with the government grant application process. Installation team Davie and Colin and Lewis the sparky all excellent and very professional. Would definitely recommend this company.

1. Help from office staff, especially the funding team was exemplary.
2. The engineers were polite, friendly, pleasant and thorough in explaining how our new central heating system works.
3. Above all, they were prompt, worked quickly and were clearly very competent in their jobs.
4. We noticed as well, how well the engineers were managed as a team, and how they all got on with each other.
5. They cleared up afterwards efficiently and quickly- the carpets were cleaner than they had been before…

Had my boiler service carried out by Declan. Very courteous and professional. So impressed that I have arranged annual service. Meanwhile Craig attended to a few plumbing issues I had. Again so professional and courteous. Both guys so helpful.

With a gas boiler on its last legs we decided that something needed to be done. After a lot of research we decided on a new gas boiler but went also for solar panels and battery. Solar panels fitted remarkably quickly from initial erection of scaffolding though to complete install of 10 panels and battery. Delighted that post-install queries were quickly resolved by Lynne and looking forward to the sunnier weather when the full effect will be experienced.

We had a small fault with our system. But thanks to Melissa Muir and an engineer it was fixed in no time at all. My thanks go to all the team at greener energy for their knowledge and professionalism. Thank you

The folks from Greener Energy group where fantastic. From Joe who did the survey and supplied the quote through Lynne who gave us the post installation call. The installers themselves we amazing, Jordan especially was very helpful and took me through the whole system. When they left you would not have known there had been there and carried out such a big job as the place was left so tidy.

We were very happy with their service installing a battery. The rep who came to see us explained everything very clearly including costs. He did not pressure us to go ahead with the installation, just left us to make our decision in our own time.
The installation was carried out within a few days of our order request. The engineers were very efficient and carefully explained installing the app required and setting it up for us. The office staff were also very helpful in getting everything sorted and completed.

Cannot fault the lads who installed my solar panels, all done in one day and no mess left behind when they had finished.

I recently had 11 solar panels installed with a Sunsynk inverter, and I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience. From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional, thanks in large part to Lynne from Accounts. She was absolutely brilliant—friendly, efficient, and proactive. Lynne made sure everything ran like clockwork and even kept a close eye on the engineering team to ensure the job was done to a high standard.
The installation itself was top-notch. The cabling is impressively neat and tidy, far superior to what I’ve seen from other installations in the area—especially compared to my neighbour’s setup, which looks quite messy in comparison. Although I had to dig a trench to my garage myself, the final result was well worth the effort.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the system’s performance and the quality of the workmanship. If you're considering solar, I’d definitely recommend this company—and make sure you ask for Lynne to be involved!

Totally pofessional approach, no surprise costs, turned up on the day and time they said they would turn up, extremely courteous, helpful, and knowledgable, and provided a fantastic product that was well worth there money. They took great care not to damage any part of our house, which we greatly welcomed. We cannot give Lynne and those who came to our house higher praise - we would recommend Greener Energy to anyone looking to make their energy more efficient and environmentally friendly.

Greener energy group sold us a hybrid boiler / heat pump solution back in 2022, by Bosch group, the heat pump now has cobwebs as it just doesn’t run.

I was sceptical that a heat pump would work for our large 1900ish house, but the sales guy convinced me that a hybrid was the best of both worlds. They scoped the system size needed, showed a payback and helped us get the govt subsidy, and said we wouldn’t need new radiators.

Then things started to go wrong, once we had the first tranche of govt money they came to do another “technical” visit, at which point they said we needed a bigger boiler and pump. Having come that far we shrugged and paid up the higher cost.

Post implementation the system never managed to heat the whole house, with certain radiators never warming up. They came and went, ruining a carpet in the process of a radiator valve change, and eventually we got to a kind of equilibrium where we gave up on it getting any better in terms of heat output, but the pump would run most days.

Then the control systems went mad and it started coming on in the middle of the night and overheating during the day. A lot more hassle and a new control panel later and it worked again for a while.

However, after a service, the heat pump stopped coming on. We had the guy round, and we managed to get it running by pushing it on. But once he left it never came on automatically again.

The mad thing is that he claims it is working properly by never coming on, because gas is so much cheaper than electric! Despite the fact that the settings are the same as they were when implemented - i.e. changes in the relative price of gas and electricity since installation will have zero impact.

They are basically saying they sold me an ornament.

I’ve sent evidence of it not coming on during conditions which it used to and information on electricity and gas use going back years.

I think the whole hybrid thing is the issue and we were missold. The whole drama has run on so long that all the assurance schemes they said we could turn to are saying it’s more than a year since installation date so they can’t get involved.

Complete rip-off and misuse of govt money. Cold house, so just put in a wood burner.
