poor quality plants
I ordered many plant bulbs, phloxes and martagon lilies from the Green Garden Flowerbulbs company.
I also ordered hosta seedlings and iris bulbs. After a long waiting time it turned out that there were no any hosta seedlings for sale and instead of hostas I was asked to order other plants. So I added an order for more other plants to this order. The fulfillment of this order took a very long time. After receiving the package it turned out, that all the plants were very dry and the worst were the Martagon lilies bulbs. They were covered with mold they were soft, looked unhealthy and unfortunately to this day none of the Martagon lily bulbs have germinated, they have not put out shoots.
I filed a complaint about this matter with the Green Garden Flowerbulbs company, I received a response and a voucher for future purchases in their company for the amount of 150 €. Generally I am dissatisfied with the service and sale of plants in this company, because they did not have the assortment that they advertised on the website, it took a very long time to complete my order and the plants received were dry or rotten, not suitable for further cultivation. A small plus for the company - for granting compensation in the form of vouchers for purchases in their company for €150, although I do not know if it compensates my loss apart from paying for the Martagon lilies and the shipping of the entire package

As we work with fresh, seasonal products from nature, it can occasionally happen that a specific variety is not available at the time of dispatch. This may be due to it not being suitable yet or because it hasn't been harvested. In such cases, it can take longer for us to send replacements, as they also need to be freshly harvested. While this might delay the process, it does ensure that we offer only the highest quality bulbs, tubers, and rootstocks.
Many of the rootstocks and tubers we ship are in their natural dormant phase, particularly those stored after harvest. This means they may appear dry or less vibrant, but this is perfectly normal. Once planted and watered, they will come back to life and flourish beautifully.
Lily bulbs, specially Martagon lilies, can sometimes appear less appealing when received. Their outer scales may show spots or surface mold, which is common and generally harmless. A soft texture, however, can indeed indicate deterioration, and we’re truly sorry to hear that your Martagon lilies did not sprout, but we assume they still will, once well rooted.
Regarding your order: We assumed that a compensation of almost 40% of the order amount was sufficient as compensation. We hope this gesture shows our commitment to customer satisfaction, even when nature doesn’t always behave as expected.
