SCAM Company

I had another Company when this scammer phoned me to explain that the old Company can't keep the costs at them were when I first signed with them. The scammer told me that he could make me change and the prices would had been lower even.
Sadly I accepted thinking it was the truth.
All be really careful and check with the Company if the calls you received are from them

Sorry I had to click 1 Star even tho I would have click a minus measurement if available! A company asking for an extra £30 per month for a overall yearly minus balance of just under £4 has to be recommended as AVOID AT ALL!! Shame on this company, made me go green in anger. Do NOT register with these merchants

shame we need energy companies

Sorry this is going to be a long rant.
I was hoping I had found a decent energy supplier ( i now believe they are rarer than rocking horse s--t). Green Network Energy you are no better than all the others out there. You wanted to increase my monthly payments by nearly another £20 a month even though I was in credit with you. I phoned to ask that the monthly payments remain the same which to be fair you did. Hence the one star. I then asked for an up to date statement on my account, on Monday 25th May I was promised an email on Wednesday 27th May with the details, guess what it didn't arrive. I phone again on Thursday 28th May and after speaking with Joshua I was put on hold and subsequently cut off. Phoned back again got Samira this time and asked to speak to a supervisor,
got put through to Samantha a Manager, she promised me a phone call back that same day with information about my account situation, and if I didn't get a call I was to phone back on Friday and ask to speak to her personally. Guess what I didn't get a phone call on Thursday.
Friday, phoned again spoke to Mana and I asked to be put through to Samantha. Sorry can't find out where she is , don't know if she is in work yet, I am not actually working in the office so can't find her, excuses, excuses.
I am sure there is a training scheme they send people on from Energy suppliers, how to avoid answering customers questions, if it were a specialist subject on mastermind they would win hands down.
Anyway back to Friday, at 15:09 I got an email from Green Network Energy, somebody must have woken them up. Great, they tell me my current account balance is £32:32p in credit, There I told you so.
Me happy bunny now. Sunday Me not so happy bunny now. I get an email 33hours after they tell me I am £32:32p in credit, stating I am £18:64p in credit . On my rough calculation with their information, my energy is costing me £13 a day, over £4500 per year. With the weather as lovely as it's been in those 33 hours I am going to be bankrupt by the time winter comes.
So I ask the question why are energy suppliers so useless at carrying out the simplest of tasks, IE giving their customers the information they request and making sure it is accurate, also doing what they say they will do and get in touch with you when they promise they will.
I have unfortunately had to take four different companies to the Ombudsman.
I have won all my cases and received meagre compensation and an apology from every one of them. Unfortunately the Ombudsman cannot compensate you with the time you have spent dealing with these incompetent companies.
I have also written to the minister supposedly in charge of these companies, but he didn't even have the courtesy to reply. That's the trouble, if he can't be arsed why should the companies.
You get the shouty gob of Martin Lewis telling you it's a no brainer, you should get a dual fuel deal, save hundreds of pounds, you might save a hundred pounds changing from single fuel suppliers the first year, you do not have such a saving in subsequent years, that's no matter how loud you shout Martin. In my case I have wasted more time and energy and cost than on the savings.
Anyway Green Network Energy that's another two contracts you have lost through incompetence, as when mine and my partners contracts are up we will once again be looking for a decent energy supplier, I am not holding my breath though.

Excellent service by Dominic.

Spoke to Dominic today at Green network energy. Was dreading making the call to be honest as I thought i’d have to explain thing over again. Dominic was very helpful and enthusiastic to assist, and very polite and professional. Overall an excellent experience, and I know my case is in good hands. I am a very pleased less stressed customer now thanks to Dominic.

Avoid

I never had any complaints with regard to this company until it was time to move, and if it wasnt for these issues this review would easily be 4 stars.
Unfortunately, has outlined by several reviewers below, the customer service is appalling, from the unhelpful representives with their lack of knowledge & motivation, to the 30 min wait, whilst listening to the same music, to speak to one of them.
My issue stems from moving into a new home. My wife (we are recently married, both had two seperate rented homes) switched suppliers and became the POC for utilities in our new home and i just moved out (contract at the end of term). I supplied readings of E: 3423.4 G: 1050 for my final bill, but to my horror the bill was generated with estimated readings of E:4121 G:1395 and a bill for £89, my horror was due to the fact that I was expecting money back. I phoned GN to ask why the bill came through on estimated readings and they informed me that they had not received readings from the new supplier, I explained the situation (has I had done previously) but they point blank refused to send someone out to clarify the readings, and said they would have to wait for the new supplier to send them through (which they never would do because GN wouldn't ask them for the readings of their own back), so the onus was placed on me to find out who the new supplier was, to then phone them and put the readings into dispute, which after alot and a mean alot of explaining to a supplier im not associated with they thankfully placed them into dispute. I contacted GN (another 30 min wait) to inform them of this and I was told it would take 12 weeks to reissue a final bill. I had no contact from GN in the mean time, I phoned them at the 4 and 8 week points (30 min wait each time) and my reward for waiting 30 min was to be told it takes 12 weeks. After "patiently" waiting for 12 weeks, I decided I did not have another 30 minute wait in me, so decided to email them. After waiting 5 days for a reply, i was told that the account has been put into dispute and it would take 12 weeks. I replied enquiring whether I had got the time frame wrong (wondering if I was still in the 12 week timeframe) or the representative meant another 12 weeks, unfortunately for me, GN had no dispute on record dispite my numerous chasing up of the dispute, and now I have to wait another 12 weeks. I apologise for the long post, but I am under the impression this company is trying every trick in the book in order to frustrate me into giving up on the money owed to me. I would therefore suggest avoiding this supplier.

New Contact

Today I renewed my contract with Greennetworkenergy. This will be the third year I have been with them. Having agreed on my new contract at a very good price, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered.a loyalty bonus. Makes a change from reading a contract. And then reading the T'S&C's. Only to find out. That this Only applies to new customers. How many times have I read that in the past? Needles to say, I will be back next year, providing I get my loyalty bonus. Why not give them a try? Good rates pleasant staff and a loyalty bonus. If you stay like me. What more could you ask for?
