Buyer Beware – Poor Warranty Service from Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle

Review:
I purchased a Magicycle Deer Step-Over electric bike from Greenpath Electric Bikes (Brooklyn, NY) in June 2024. Less than a year later, the battery and display completely failed.

Despite the bike being under full manufacturer warranty, I have been stuck for weeks in endless delays, conflicting information, and finger-pointing between Greenpath and Magicycle.
Magicycle demanded shipping fees that were never disclosed at purchase and dismissed the serious battery issue without proper testing.
Greenpath refused to intervene to resolve the situation and ultimately informed me that they would no longer service my bike — despite selling me the product with a warranty.

Throughout this process, Greenpath was unprofessional, slow to respond, and offered no loaner bike or real support while I was left without transportation to work.
I gave them every opportunity to correct the situation privately. Their final communication confirmed that they have no intention of standing behind the products they sell.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding both Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle.
