Worst agency of all! I had a trial with a family and I reserved a my free Saturday for them. The children loved and connected with me very well! We did engage in playing. The family however thought the trial was not productive and thought they don't have to pay me for my precious time. The agency didn't even ensure that the family payes me! They did no effort themselves to make the family understand that trial must be payed. I never experienced anything like this. Please be aware and avoid this agency. It's a pure waste of time!
Typical old fashioned recruitment agency. Advertising jobs they don’t have, not keeping in touch with their candidates, untrained staff, usual awful questions when registering. Tired agency. Avoid.
Sadly not a company I wanted to work with. It took 3 separate attempts to get a reply (3 weeks!) and then only one candidate was put forward.
Said candidate was not a good quality. A good cleaner but certainly not a housekeeper. Hard to get hold of and then left my sofa seat in a dry cleaners an hour away and refused to bring it back.
When asked this company to GRT involved they refused and said not too far for me t go.
I would pass by this company and find an alternative!
Asked for a complaint policy and they refused to send.
I find it hard to believe any of the jobs on their website and every job website they advertise with actually exist. They make out they’re super select and that you can’t even even apply until you get a registration number. So I registered to get a so called phone chat from one of their local agents....nothing..nada. I’ve applied for countless jobs they advertise..nothing..nada.
They have a clause to say they’re inundated with applications so won’t respond unless you are Mary Poppins.
Also be aware that so many of their jobs have been on their website for weeks and months, so if they were real they would’ve long gone.
My experience with Greycoat Lumleys has been fantastic. They were very open minded with my unusual background. Nadine has been extremely helpful and highly professional. Jo encouraged me to have a little patience in order to find the right position for me. I will be working with a fantastic family that is a great fit for me and know that I will be looked after also in the future. Thank you! I highly recommend Greycoat Lumleys if you are looking for first class service.
Disgraceful service, Greycoat are just thoroughly none respondent to any form of application or enquiry.
They are fooling themselves that they are of the same like as their customer base, simply not.
Have been registered with them for years, apparently hardly any interest in me as an experienced nanny from families. Who gets all those nanny jobs then listed on their website? I was once invited back for a trial day where I worked 5 hours. The family decided to choose someone else (there were MANY nannies arriving for interview/trial day, not sure if same agency or all through different agencies). I never got paid for the trial day! Still chasing after my money which I will probably never get as it's been more than 1 year since and I made many attempts, they keep ignoring me. When it's a case of non-payment of your services, they just expect you to swallow it!
With I assume non-live ads to 'get you in', pointless conversations and little or no care for potential staff not to mention the lack of contact, I rate them 1* or less.
Just like Patsy Stone they think they are special, but its all just glossy wrapping paper in my opinion.
