The only downside is the delivery with FedEx. They are very expensive, it took very long considering the short distance. And the changed the delivery date three times. The five stars are for Grifos, not for FedEx.

I couldn’t resist and inked the pen with my favorite (Vinta Tubbataha), and it wrote so smoothly right out of the box! It’s a light pen, in spite of its being made of sterling silver. Loving it!

I bought the Grifos Mosaic Pen, and the purchase went quite good.

Grifos is not so common among other Italian names, but they are one of the few companies who make pens in sterling silver. The resin is just amazing, beautiful beyond words. Blue crystals happily play in the yellow ocean. The yellow is translucent, which unfortunately shows the glue mark at the end of the cap. I am a big fan of Conway Stewart honey noir resin, and although I don't own one yet, this one has a similar charm!

The nib is a Bock broad nib which writes smooth with a pencil-like feedback. Probably the nib was dip tested and the part which stays inside the nib coller was not cleaned. The polish is removed permanently in that region, which doesn't affect writing, but is an unfortunate event. This and the glue mark are two reasons I took a star off.
